Our field is fully fenced with 6' chain link fence, including a double gate to ensure that no dog can ever escape. Water is available for the dogs, and seating is available under our beautiful trees in the shade for you. As the fall starts to get colder and winter is upon us, we do plan to stay open for the winter. We plan to snowblow parts of the field so that there is a path when the snow gets super deep, and we’ll try to keep the area directly beside the barn clear for you. This is our plan… we’ll see how it works out in reality. :) If you have snowshoes, it may be a good idea to bring them some days depending on how much snowfall we’ll get. There is a bench around the tree on the far hill for you to sit on if you like. There are very few distractions here so it is a great space for play and/or training. We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. Hard packed snow and mild weather can create icy sections on the property, we put down sand and pet safe ice melt on the trails to help. Feel free to contact us for trail conditions before booking. There's even a box with poop bags and bug spray and garbages by the parking spot and at the end of the main path!

AN OASIS FOR ALL DOGS!!! I brought my 12 year old little best friend Armani to Bridget’s property and not only had an amazing time, but I was able to make some really great memories with him. My dog absolutely LOVED running free and sniffing around the property, enjoying his treats while laying in the grass, the smile of his face was priceless. The hour flew by, next time I would book even longer! Letting him run outside freely was something i’ve never been able to comfortably do without worry anywhere else as we have no yard at home. When he came home he was pooped, he slept like a rock 🤣 I can’t wait to bring more dogs here including my own again so that they can immerse themselves in nature. There’s nothing more mentally enriching for dogs than this. AND pro tip, be sure to grab some eggs that the host offers, they also have amazing dog treats too which I will absolutely stock up on next visit. I was able to purchase some duck eggs which were fantastic and very fresh, will even to add some to my dogs meals for him to try :)

This place is vast and incredible. Rife with different terrains and levels, little creatures like frogs - a haven for any dog that loves to climb, sniff, and all around explore. It should be noted that on rainy days/after there can be ALOT of mosquitoes, which is typical of Ontario. The host provides great bug repellent, but do dress accordingly.

Dogs had a lot of fun running around the yard. Area was secured with lots of paths, balls, and space. The entrance is secured with a piece of plywood and wiring, easy enough for my dogs and me to get over yet high enough to keep them contained. Host is quick to respond. There are a few dogs on either sides of the fences. Luckily my dogs react well to barks / whines and weren’t too bothered. Great spot!
