This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!

I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. A beautiful fenced-in 5 acre parcel with hills, a few trees, areas of short and tall grass. Dogs absolutely love it here. Occasionally we’ll see wild turkeys and a few deer (and a gopher or squirrel here and there) but otherwise a dog roaming paradise. Easy to pull in and park (near the empty barn) and there are several shady spots around property. I have a dog bowl, some treats and a few balls but also acquiring some more toys. My WiFi extends to a few areas outside the house but cell reception is fine here.

Perfect for hanging out or training with your dog or letting him or her roam free for an hour (or more!) while you get things done. Completely secured with extra gate between font and backyard. All breeds and dogs of any size are welcome but please leave yard as you found it (broom and trash can provided!) The spot is walking distance to West Oakland Bart station (About 10-12 minute walk). We have neighbors on either side of our home but it’s a very quiet neighborhood overall. Please do note that occasionally you can hear a dog barking from houses in the neighborhood or voices of neighbors enjoying their yard. There are chairs and a coffee table on the patio for your use, if desired, while your dogs explores. A bowl with water and a hose is provided.

Half acre property, fully fenced and gated, good privacy, lawn, pool, lounge chairs, table and chairs, flower gardens, redwood trees, olive trees, persimmon trees, meditation garden, hummingbirds, and even a red fire hydrant. Optional pool access for people can be purchased as an Extra, by the hour and by the person. The pool is unheated except by the sun/air. We love all dogs and welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes and hair types to visit; however we can only offer pool access for non-shedding pups, as long hair and fur was unfortunately causing damage to the pool equipment; If you are booking for more than one non-shedding dog swimming or for longer than an hour, please message us with info about your dog(s) and we will create an extra for you for the number of dogs you have swimming. Most visitors find the lawn size ample for running around and throwing a ball a bit, but if you are looking for a field to throw a tennis ball as far as you possibly can with a Chuck-it, the yard is not really the right size and shape for that, sorry! Hours right now are 7:30am to 5:30pm. We look forward to your visit!

The ultimate dog escape! A dreamy lake surrounded by rolling hills! Your dogs can experience wild foul, fish and cattle or spend their time time swimming away at the lake! There is a picnic table for your stuff and a great combination of sun and shade surrounding the lake! We recently added a 1.2 mile trail around our property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Please note, It is a little a walk to get down to our lake and the lake does not have any fencing. There are also cows that roam in the same field. The cows are harmless, but all fences must be shut while going in and out of the field. Please ignore the cows and they will ignore you. Our house is the only house on the right side of the road. Please do not stop/disturb the first houses on the left side of the driveway. Keep coming down our driveway and park near the light blue green house on the right. If you’re wondering if we test for toxic blue green algae, the answer is yes! The test was negative! Please see our pictures for confirmation of a negative test!
