They will be out and new pictures will be loaded by April 1, 2023. I have a fully fenced (dug chain link and chicken wire with gate blockers) .5 of an acre in beautiful Courtenay BC. We are right across from Nymph Falls and back onto a woodlot as well. The person is welcome to use the four acres not fully fenced right next to the fenced area if they wish as well. There will be no other people or dogs in that area. Thanks!

This spot was perfect for my highly reactive dog. Not only was the space private, treed and well set up, but the booking options allowing us to select to not view the resident dog and to not meet the owner (beyond me briefly getting the low down on our initial visit) meant we could come and go without any triggers or incidents at all, which is huge for ensuring a pleasant visit. Also, Kaci was amazing - I accidentally showed up a full week early due to my own brain blip (?!!), and as our commute is an hour one way she let me take Bodhi for a quick pee break prior to her next client - she even messaged me some alternate park areas nearby so my dog had a proper break that day. Additionally, the day prior to our first visit I opted to change our booking to be a bit earlier in the day (due to current heat wave temperatures), and Kaci even messaged me when someone earlier had canceled in case I wanted to take that spot instead. So very kind and thoughtful. We appreciated the shade and grass and brought lots of water along. We'll be back! Thanks Kaci for registering your amazing spot, very much appreciated! This is a gorgeous spot! The fenced area is large, and the unfenced portion feels very secure because it is surrounded by woods and undergrowth. My two dogs had the time of their lives romping around! Lots of space to run, and plenty of areas to explore. The birdsong was beautiful too. Definitely coming back!

Took my very active GSP to the MINI Forest today. She loved it and spent an hour and 45 min running around exploring. There were some muddy spots, she didn’t care! Wearing hiking boots was a good suggestions. There is a well appointed out house and benches and tables if you want to have lunch. It was a beautiful spot, I’m sure I will go back. Grace was very welcoming, a very good hostess.

I'm pretty sure this is the best Sniffspot ever! My 2 dogs ran their little tails off and had so much fun! There is tons of space here, and so many woodsy areas for the dogs to explore. This place is truly special and unique, like an off leash paradise for dogs. The host (Grace) is very kind, and has added several nice touches to the space.

This place is awesome. The people are nice and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the fencing is 100% secure. There are trails, hills, open places and beautiful small streams for your dog to swim in. This was our dogs first time off leash in the woods. It was the perfect place to see how she would do. She loved it and after we saw how well it was fenced, we didn't worry at all about her safety! We can't wait to get back there!

My pup Birdie and I had such a great time here. Lots of birds singing and very peaceful vibes. A great mix of trees and shade with open meadowy spots for rest. We’ll definitely be back. The mini forest is just gorgeous, especially this time of year! We spotted a big owl today high up in the enormous trees. Our dogs ran all over the meadows, they the trails and played in the creek too. Thank you for the fun treats at the end of our beautiful walk!!

This was our second time at the mini hike. It is far and away one of the best spots for dogs that need a fenced area. There is mixed terrain - trails, trees, even a small creek at the entrance and enough space for your dogs to explore freely and securely out of your sight. The property is well maintained and Grace, the host is very friendly and welcoming. I’m kinda picky about Sniffspots but this place is a real charmer. Wish it was closer to Seattle but we made a day of it with a drive around the Skagit Valley.
