The visit to the Sniffspot was an absolute blast, it was ones of Blue’s favorite places he has ever been. He loved swimming in both the kiddie pool and especially the creek…he spent the entire time in the water. This Sniffspot was extremely well set up. There were tons of dog toys, floats, water, chairs, poop bags, an outdoor speaker, water shoes, towels, dog shampoo, literally anything you could think of. So well thought-out! Blue was so happy and even after hours of playing he didn’t want to leave. We did have a few hiccups with booking in the app, but it’s to be expected when dealing with technology, and it doesn’t overshadow this amazing place and an accommodating host who literally thought of everything a dog and their humans might need to have fun. 55It’s very hard for me to find a place outdoors by a clean safe body of water where I can truly just relax with my reactive dog, without worrying about other dogs suddenly appearing.
I really was just looking for a nice creek for her to swim in and I certainly found that! but this place is just as comfortable for humans as it is for pups. There are seats by a few different parts of the creek, the patio is extremely comfortable and welcoming, there is a kiddie pool there for pups to cool down, and all amenities are clearly labeled. The indoor bathroom feels like a luxury compared to other sniff spots, and there are several pairs of water shoes in different sizes so you can fully enjoy the creek. My dog got a little spooked when we used the floaty toys in the creek as she’d never seen them before, but they’re very nice. There were life vests in many sizes, even one juuust big enough for my 80lbs German shepherd. There was shade everywhere, either from trees or umbrellas. Perfect place for a chill day on the river.
I know I’m repeating everything on the listing but I guess what I’m saying is that this place is exactly as good as advertised.
As the listing and many others have said, the only kind of pup this might not be good for is one who is likely to run off into the brush and not come back. Fencing is nonexistent on the far side of the creek. One of our few freebies with our dog is that she likes to stay in my line of sight, so this wasn’t an issue for us.
We drove 2.5 hrs (from the East Bay) to get here and sprung for three hours of time. Worth every penny. Thanks for sharing this wonderful space!K t.

Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?
Many people looking for fully fenced parks have dogs that are not good with voice control. Start by applying basic filters, such as fences height and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. You can see attributes of fences such as height, gaps and fencing type to find the perfect fenced-in space for dogs. You can filter by size to make sure you have plenty of space, or a smaller space if you prefer a neighborhood park. You can browse on a map by park location to find one in your city or near your city. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
