Our fenced in property with a orchard and large open space has been adored by many dogs and other pets we have cared for many years. We are a family owned beef and pork producer on 124 acres in Fort Edward, NY and would like to share our fields with you and your dog(s)! Enjoy private, mowed paths while the hay is growing, or a completely open field that’s great for frisbee when it’s cut! This setting is perfect for a leisurely walk/run, photo opportunities in the grass/wildflowers or with the three large oak trees as a backdrop! We often share our fields with all sorts of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, geese, pheasants, deer, owls, hawks, song birds of all varieties and the occasional partridge! If your dog likes to swim after a walk, there is a swimming spot near the Dead Creek bridge! Parking is on our 1st field road right after the Dead Creek bridge, and is directly off County Route 46. The parking area is marked in the photos. **We ask that you please park near the road and do not drive down the field road when it’s wet. We would also greatly appreciate you driving on the field road and not in the hay fields. Thank you! **The east portion of the field does have 2 paddocks of hot electric fence- it is easy to see the wire and posts. We do have beef cows/calves and large pigs that are sometimes near the fence line- they are friendly and use to dogs; however, we strongly discourage attempting to pet them, feed them, or allowing dogs to get too close to them or the fence.

There is off-street parking available as it is located in a quiet neighborhood. You're welcome to walk your dogs around the neighborhood as well. Please just ensure they are leashed if doing so. Thank you for waiting for mud season to wind down, we are open and there is a new gate to the field, left corner. (See photos) Repurposing our field fenced area, roughly an acre sized lot. We enjoy pups, having a pair of our own, they will be kept inside during your visit. The field is brush mowed, only one gate entrance (left corner looking from barn), bench and refuse bin provided. A private hiking trail for dogs and their owners 🐾 there will not be any other dogs out on the trail. Our trail is located in Bolton (Waterbury address). It’s is approximately 1 mile up the mountain. There is a Brook that follows the trail most of the way up. The trail starts out with a nice mowed path and leads you into a beautiful canopy of trees as you head into the woods and it quickly turns into a steep uphill hike. We have 135 acres for you to adventure on ! Please follow the signs for the trail head parking - go all the way past the house and you will see a sign on your right.

The Monkton Community Dog Park is located on Pond Road in Monkton, Vermont. The park is unfenced and requires that dogs be licensed, vaccinated, and healthy. Rules include keeping dogs in sight, limiting to 2 dogs per adult, minimizing barking, and picking up waste. Dogs in heat and under 12 weeks old are prohibited, as well as aggressive dogs.
