55We visited Kim’s spot with our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs, 2 Huskies a Border collie and my son’s chihuahua. They all had a fantastic time. It was great for them to have so much open space to run and sniff. Kim had a wonderful pool filled with water and another water big water bowl for them. She was very helpful and accommodating. I wasn’t intending on getting in, but it was too beautiful not to enjoy it with my pup and it was private enough that I felt comfortable doing so. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
