55Loved our visit! Our 2 dogs has so much fun in the creek, smelling and running around. Was nice and sunny, yet there was a good amount of shade for them to cool off in. We liked the variation within the park from the hill, to grassy areas, shrubs, etc. Appreciated the chairs at the top of the hill where we could sit and watch them as they explored!Brooklyn H.

55My dogs had a great time here! The little creek that runs through the property was a big hit. They did get really dirty but it was worth it. It was nice that there was a hose available to spray them down with. It was also nice that there was a bit of agility equipment or just long grass to run through. Dani G.

55We had a great time with our anxious dog and new rescue! Just be warned that the creek is full of mud. Be prepared for a bath afterwards! Loved the agility course. We will be back!Kathryn S.

55Was pretty easy to get to once you have the directions. Area is beautiful and the pups loved their time running free. I had peace as I felt they were pretty safe in the environment. Love that there was a hose available as both my pups went into the creek and were so dirty! But, they loved it! Thank you! Cassandra L.

55Everything about this park has been done thoughtfully: from the stick library, doggie bags in case you forgot and water bowls throughout, to the branches laid down in the swampy spots so you can explore further with your dog. I especially love the tiny wading pool addition for summer! Even though we tried to book a cooler day, my black doggie needed that quick hose down in order to keep enjoying his hour of running through the field and sniffing along the trails.
The fencing is secure and there is a good variety of terrain with a nice little creek to meander along or cross on any of the many bridges. We have also been here in winter and had a great time.
Two things for first timers to know: limited shade for summer so just be aware of cooling your pup down, and there are some neighboring sounds that can't be avoided. This is outside the owners control but if your dog is severely sound reactive you may just want to be aware that there are dogs, people, and other wildlife sounds from neighbors occasionally.
Thanks to Kaleigh and fam for setting up this welcoming private park. Danielle O.

55Great place for the dogs to play and run around. There's a creek, and a nice little area in the shade with access to water to help beat the heat. Wear good shoes - it's a rustic park. Melissa L.

55Very lovely place with multiple little bridges across the creek that runs through it. My dog loved it and it has great little areas to explore. Except to get dirty, being big spray and a hat in summer. Just be mindful that there are some off leash dogs that maybe from another home around there that may come say hello at the gate (a border collie and a pitbull).Lindsay K.

FAQ about our Rocky View County dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Rocky View County?
There are 9 dog fields in the Rocky View County area. The most popular dog field is 2 Acre Private Dog Park In Bearspaw. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Rocky View County area range from $4.0 and $4.0. The least expensive dog field is Penguins and Dogs on top of the hill. The most expensive dog field is Penguins and Dogs on top of the hill. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
