Come enjoy yourself in the country! We have over 10 fully fenced acres that include two spring-fed private ponds for dogs that like the water, some slight hills for running and playing, lots of wide open space and a beautiful creek. There will be no dogs, people or animals outside on my property during your visit. Please just bring your own toys and pick up after your dogs. I look forward to welcoming you! * The entire 10+ acre perimeter of the property is steel mesh fencing with poles and/or steel mesh fencing in horse fencing to keep the entire perimeter secure and safe. PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Smaller dogs could potentially get out through the rails. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them so they can determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Great space, lots of variety in terrain. There were open spaces, trails, bridges and a river. Lucy (8 mo Pitty) was completely engaged and my 6 and 9 yr nieces had a great time. Easy to find and hosts were helpful and kind.

Visited this gorgeous spot with my pup and partner for the second time yesterday! We love this Sniffspot so much - John and his family are so kind. The trails are pristine and we love the little cabin deck to have a nice picnic lunch. It’s truly a wonderful little slice of heaven and we’re so excited to continue visiting this summer!

This is a beautiful spot, with a meadow and streams to play in and lots of fun little trails. We were there for 90 minutes, and we did not get bored! You will initially pass through a field with some cows, a goat, and turkeys, so be prepared if your dog has a strong prey drive, as mine does. Also keep in mind that there is a quiet road that runs along the top of the property, and there is no fence between the property and the road. I mention this for those whose dogs might not be good about staying out of roads (or who want to chase cars, as mine does!). I would highly recommend this Sniffspot, and I'm looking forward to visiting again!

Such a beautiful gem. My dogs absolutely loved running all up and down through the woods and in the streams. The trails were beautifully maintained and benches all throughout for sitting to listen to the stream and admire the beautiful landscape. The host, Stephanie was so nice and welcoming and I truly enjoyed learning about their fabulous place. Lots of farm animals wandering around in the pasture area and the dogs did great around them. I loved the beautiful turkey walking around and fanning his feathers! Such a wonderful place, I felt like I was a friend when I left and the dogs got so much enjoyment they slept the whole way home!

We love Spring Acres and return to it often. It’s very private and it has everything a dog could want - wooded trails, creeks and for the ball obsessed canine, large open areas to play fetch. The only thing it doesn’t have is an ocean beach but for the salty sea pup in your family there are a couple sandy areas by the creek to nose around in! The property is really beautiful right now too with all the spring growth emerging. It’s still muddy so be sure to wear appropriate shoes or boots. Stephanie and John keep improving the spot too with things like new trailhead signage and a new trail. All in all it’s a great spot!

Spring Acres is the place to be! Stephanie is a wonderful host who met us to give an introduction to the park and provided a beautifully illustrated map. It was so much fun for us to wander the trails and sit and listen to the creek and the breeze. The park is spacious, charming and well maintained. Most definitely worth the trip from the city!

If I could give this place 5,000,000 stars, I would. Same with our pup, Freyja. We brought her here as a gift for her 3rd birthday, and she had the time of her life! Baked her a cake, and let her run around worry-free for 3.5 hours! John has got to be one of the most kind-hearted and animal loving people out there, and we were blessed for the opportunity to enjoy his and Stephanie's land. Thank you a million, and we will DEFINITELY be back!!! An experience of a lifetime.

I was nervous at first about bringing 4 reactive dogs to a Hobby Farm, but the owners welcomed us with a smile and guided us, gave us space when we needed it, and we had the pleasure of seeing and learning about all of their beautiful livestock animals.
