Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family my be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.

There is always ample, safe, street parking directly next to the entrance gate, which is on the side of the house. If you prefer driveway parking, let me know and we can make room for you, but the best parking spot is right outside the gate! We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends. This spot was amazing!! The woods part was an absolute dream. We are working on off leash walking with 3 dogs so this was perfect for us to experiment with. We have a 14 lb dog and there were no gaps in the fencing and we could locate her pretty easily. A wonderful spot! Clean and spacious, and a nice mix of open and wooded areas. The woods have a nice series of cleared pathways. Lots of toys and other amenities. Our dogs had a ball!

Everything was clearly labeled and the pictures of where to park were very helpful. There was so much to see and do it will take many visits to experience it all. Salem is very lucky to have this available to dogs that may not do well in groups. The trail in the woods was a hidden gem. We can’t wait to return!

This was my first visit and I absolutely loved everything about it, the area was clean, plenty of amenities and so many activities for my fur baby. He was so happy and he really enjoyed himself. I felt safe and secure to let him run around and explore on his own, he really loved the trails and kept going back. I would absolutely go back again and recommend to others.

My dog normally doesn't have that much fun at sniffspots but he loved the trail in the woods that made him feel like he wasn't just in a fenced in yard. There were lots of toys and activities there to do as well as a little welcome treat. We will be going back for sure.

Best spot yet so clean lots of cool stuff .My pup usually doesn't last a full half hour .He was very interested in smells and lots to investigate. Agility equipment slash pad wood's very well set up their dog is so lucky to have a great yard.we will be back for sure

Penelope’s Spot was amazing! There’s everything you could want from trails in a wooded area, to enrichment/agility equipment to toys. The spot as very neat and very well organized. It’s obvious they have put a lot of thought into making this a haven for dogs. The instructions and expectations were very clear and Penelope was very responsive to messages if I had questions. Our dogs had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!
