55This was a great natural spot for my Newfoundland who is a city dog. He was so enthusiastic about having the open space to run and explore. I’m not so steady on my feet—so I tripped and fell a couple of times, but nothing that was upsetting to me. I’ll definitely bring a walking pole next time I visit! It’s definitely got some hiking aspect to it. There’s water before, on, and after the area meant for playing. He was thrilled to discover left-behind ball because, obviously other dogs’ balls are better than the ones I brought! This was easy to find, the host was quick to answer my question about parking.
The only thing that bothered me was that I went just about at dusk, so there were a lot of mosquitos. This is not the host’s issue and I have no issue with it—just a city girl who doesn’t see much nature! Bring bug spray. Meri H.

55My dog had a blast!!! Felt like we were on a hike and she was able to roam free, it is a little steep going uphill when you first walk in but it was a good little workout!! There were neighbors on the right side of the property that had their kids out that were a little loud and my dog got a little stressed out but easily able to distract her and go to the opposite side of the property down a little trail. Overall, very nice property and good training experience for my very reactive dog!!! Mika M.

55What a lovely little spot. I was a little confused when I got there and went in the wrong pasture. The owner was pleasant and and came down to show me where to go. The actual Sniffspot has a sign on the last gate you need to go through. Once you are in you immediately walk up a wooded hill to the top of a nice sunny pasture. Lots of little areas to sniff and play fetch. Both my boys had a great time! Alise R.

55Loved it! So much space for my husky to run and explore. Be mindful of the water near/under the gate entrance. Mine went straight for the mud on our way out. Samantha G.

55I had a great time here with my toddler and 2 dogs! A fair amount of different terrain/spread out land to keep the dogs interested for a full hour. Very clear directions from the host that all made sense when I arrived. 5/5!Caillee V.

55Our dogs love this space: a big open hill surrounded by wild forests and a creek. They are worn out after 45 minutes of running and trekking, which makes us very happy. Rebecca D.

55We came to this spot almost a year ago and had a great time, but it’s even better now! They’ve added a gate at the entrance to the main road and gravel walkway leading to the spot, both made it feel safer. Our dogs had a great time again and we will be back! Harmony L.

55Very lovely. My dog was more interested in looking and listening than running, but we’ll be back. There’s so much we didn’t get to explore! Well worth the 40 min drive from South Mercer.
If you’re coming from the 169, you’ll go into a right curve just before the entrance on the left. At the very end of this curve is where they’re located. It’s very easy to miss the turn off. The gate is located about 15 feet away from the roadway and lower than where you’re driving. Tess J.

55Great location! Spot was easy to find and get in/out of. The farm animals are far enough away from the dog area that you can’t see them, and the dog area itself is nice and large for running around. We brought both our pups here for training recall and they had a fun time:) will definitely be back! Pic of our girl with the zoomies☺️Alyssa G.

55Nice and shady on a hot day! A couple of nice short trails, green space, and water provided. Ella loved running around and sniffing like crazy. She did muck around in some mud and got muddy paws, so if your doggie does that kind of stuff you might want to bring a towel. 😀 Loreen L.
