Come relax with your pup on our 17 acre property (About 10 acre access for the pups) located just across the street from Hurd State Park in East Hampton! Nestled between the Bronx River Parkway and Hutchinson River Parkway in Scarsdale, this ideally located quarter acre, fully fenced and gated private dog park is the perfect location for you and your fur baby. Aside from being a dog park for our pups, those we fostered, and those we dogsit, this yard has also been used for training for Guiding Eyes for the Blind dogs. Ever since my family moved here in the late 1980s we have never treated the yard with pesticide or herbicide, we don't allow any poisonous plants, and we've kept this yard fully fenced and gated with plenty of privacy hedges. There's ample parking on the street. There is a deck and a patio for the humans and two pools, a sprinkler system, agility equipment, and toys for the pups. None of my next door neighbors or bordering neighbors have dogs or outside pets. This is a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood very close to New York City. I love dogs and I plan to follow my Mom's dream of starting a dog sanctuary. I started volunteering at shelters and dogsitting and walking at 16 over 25 years ago. More recently I've become a dog trainer and am increasing my skills at veterinary assistance. My resume also includes corporate pet health in both New York and Los Angeles. Located in the quiet Hamlet of Aquabogue set back on a flag property over 7 acres are primary residence resides on the rear property which allows for a 3 acre plus dog park in the beginning of the property fully fenced and private adjacent to a quiet nursery no neighbors or sounds or noises no pass or buyers or trafficthe nearest road is Hubbard Avenue which is well over 1000 feet away. Speed limit is 30 miles property is fenced in and fully accessible. Ample parking area is fully grass with no pesticides or poisonous apple wildlife to view osprey groundhogs, deer, rabbits and an occasional fox easy access directly off 105.

Ample room to run or take a swim. Bring your own frisbee, balls etc and romp away. The pavilion provides shelter from hot sun or sudden showers. Enjoy beaver, heron, bald eagle sightings….pack a picnic and relax w your furry best friend by the side of Wappingers Creek in the hamlet of salt point. Park is winterized so bathrooms/available Mid May-October.

For dog parents and guardians, we provide comfortable seating, hammocks, and a selection of beverages—all within view of a charming neighboring horse farm. Relax and unwind while your dog enjoys their adventure in nature.

Lots to run and sniff ! Two separate areas to use. Clean water bowl provided. Second dog is half off for the hour. Pool may be available during on season. People may not swim in pool other than to retrieve their dog.

Large open area next to a horse stable. Lots of squirrels and birds to see. We do not have a wooden fence but we do have a barrier that my two Dobermans respect as well as my neighbors Great Danes. Gentle slopes and rock gardens give pups plenty to run around. It’s a serene little oasis close to New Haven for pups that need their own space to romp and play without the “space invaders “ at local dog parks. You are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn and watch your pups run and play. I will be updating to include a “ ball box” for “Chuck-It” fetch.
