This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). Guests may park in the horseshoe circle drive in front of the house (please don't block the driveway to the garage) and let themselves into the back yard using the wrought iron gate next to the garage and trash cans. This 5+ acre parcel is full of fallow field fun for you and your pets! This farm is also a certified wildlife habitat, so it's great for birding if you enjoy that! Humans can stay on the mowed pathways while the dogs roam the open fields. Active farming activities including beehives, vegetable growing areas and bramble patch are some of the farming activities you might encounter! While the area is only partially fenced, a large ditch to the south, creek to the north, and natural wooded boundaries define the edges of the parcel. We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.

Our property is a mix of 2 open pastures, and trails through the woods. There is a smaller totally fenced in area (former goat enclosure) that’s great for working on recall and scent work. We have 2 houses with yards at the address. Simply follow the driveway past the yards to the Spot behind. When you see the white barn, you’re there! Feel free to roam and play. Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.
