Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, several nature trails for hiking adventures, and a wetland-like area with a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk over logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over in places, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are two bridges over the creek, and we will be adding one more bridge at the far west end of the spot soon. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit you will see improvements! We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (message us in advance if you need more chairs and we’ll put them out for you), and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. We also provide snacks and beverages for humans and doggos! Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, a round metal table w/umbrella & 4 metal chairs, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is VERY secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We recently added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who visit after dark. They provide subtle light at the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. If you you want to explore the trails after dark we recommend putting a collar light on your dog(s), and that you bring headlamps and flashlights 🔦. ***We recently added a small bridge over the middle section of the creek! The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. We enjoy our peaceful, scenic, 3 acres with our Doberman Piper. We are 35 minutes from Fremont Bridge, in Hwy 30. I participate in dog sports and enjoy taking Piper with me as much as able. I thought others may enjoy our property with their dog as much as we do with ours. As you pull off Columbia River Hwy (hwy 30) towards the Warren Country Inn restaurant (56575 Columbia river hwy, warren, Or 97053) stay left towards the guard rail. You will see a dead-end road sign with a Sniffspot sign underneath it. This is our driveway. Follow and stay left up the hill past the barn & past the goats. Our property has the 2-story gold house on it. You will see on your left a green sign with our address 56441. You will park on your right, by the Sniffspot parking sign. This unfenced, large, mowed field to the right is yours to enjoy and is only part of the 3 acres you get to play in. Straight ahead, towards the 2-car garage, there is a picnic table under the trees. Feel free to use this. Dogs love to jump on it. Look to the far right and you will see a 6-foot chain link fence. Walk across the field and the entrance is to your left. Just follow the chain link fence to left for the gate. Inside of this area is a fully fenced, 5 to 6 feet tall area to train or play. This area is about 100 ft by 50 ft wide. Inside of the chain link area is an agility jump, large container of chuck its, tugs, other toys and orange cones for dog training. There is also a water bowl with water that will be cleaned between guests. When it is hot out, I will have a kiddie pool with water so your dogs can cool down. There are 2 chairs to sit in when in the fenced area. Feel free to bring whatever you would like to play with to the big grass field area to enjoy. We would appreciate it if you can put it back inside the fenced area when you are finished with the items. If you continue to the left of the chain link entrance, you will see several steps down to the seasonal stream. It’s either a pond or a stream, depending on if the beavers damn it or the damn breaks. Feel free to let your dog explore this area. The mud is soft. During the summer, its more on the dry side. From the steam continue to the left and follow the stream. When you get to the tall trees straight ahead there will be a box of poop bags, next to the seasonal stream. Our neighbor’s property is behind these bags on the right in the green house. So go left up the hill towards the orchard. Feel free to pick a couple apples during the fall. This will get you to the front, by the picnic table and you will be able to see your car from the top of the orchard. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms on site, however as you will see the Warren Country inn is right by our home. You can go there during business hours to use their bathroom. Or grab something to go to eat on our picnic table. We have an added attraction of moles. My Dobie loves trying to find them. Beware of holes that we may have missed filling in between guests. We do have a variety of unknown mushrooms growing during autumn and some other wet months. If the ball or toy goes over the fence to our neighbor’s yard, just leave it there. Don’t go and get it. We will get later. Please pick up after yourself and your dog. No smoking or vaping please. No drugs or alcohol. Please no glass

A perfect spot for me and my advanced packs! Beginners to off-leash adventures might want to practice elsewhere or use a long lead first, as there is open access to a somewhat busy road from the SniffSpot. There are enough barriers and space to keep obedient dogs away from that access, but err on the side of caution with newbies. Plenty of open space to run. Little to no mud with the dry-ish weather. Doesn’t appear that it would be muddy during wet days. Little trails dividing tall grass from short grass patches allowed for plenty of entertaining runs and sniffs for the dogs. A couple different areas to sit and rest if desired. We brought our own, but toys and poop bags were provided. LOVED that a trash can was provided. We plan to return regularly!

We love having a safe and open space for Larry to run around and just be a dog. Note; if it's been raining at all, wear waterproof shoes and make sure you have a towel for your pup(s). Really great setup. We will be back. 👍

Very pretty location and super clean. The road near by was fairly busy but wasn't a bother to me or my dogs. A dog could be heard barking but couldn't be seen. Overall a nice field for your dogs to run around in.

We will be back! Had so much fun at this property. Love that there are large areas that are mowed short, then tall grass areas to explore too. No mud at all, which is a plus for wintertime in the PNW. Very well kept and perfect for my dog and I to spend some time training and playing.

The meadow looks like a large event area, and has a small man-made creek running through it. There is no fence to the street. When I went, there was a thick layer of hardened snow on the field. Host asked me to leave the dog poop by the table. She provided toys, doggie bags, water, and a bowl. She was fast at responding to my questions. I would come again especially in the spring when there are more flowers and grass.

Awesome spot! Our pup's recall is not solid at all, so we kept him on a 50' line, as the fencing isn't super secure and there is a very busy road next to the fence on one side. Otherwise, this is a great spot for pups to romp and play. Parking is super easy, too! We'll be back for sure. Thanks!

What a fun spot! So much space to explore… I loved the mowed paths and my dog loved chasing his ball into the tall grasses- he and his nose got a good work out! There is a big ‘park here’ sign which I’ve really come to appreciate. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?

All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.

How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
