Great place to walk with your dog. Easy to find. And lots of space for a dog to run. We will be back.

Love this location! Easy access from Edmonton, and the dogs have a great time bouncing around the field, checking out the woods and investigating all sorts of tracks and smells.

Today was our first time visiting and we really enjoyed ourselves! We have 3 socially awkward dogs so it's hard to go places without always being on guard but we were able to do that today. There isn't any signage other than telling you where to park but it was easy enough to find (just up the hill as instructed prior to booking) and other than the trail leading up to the field area the walking trails aren't groomed but that isn't a must for us - we quite enjoyed trekking through the deep snow and the dogs had a blast zooming through it! The field provides a nice open area to play with your dog and keep an eye on them while you hike but there are bushes off to the side that lead into the neighbors lots so you want to make sure your dog has good recall and won't take off. Hoping to come play again soon! We loved this place and it doesn't get much better than 40 acres. Huge thank you from us (Teagan and Beck) and love and licks from 3 very tired boys - Marcus, Tucker, and Jasper 🐶.

Although it was bitter cold, my dogs had a blast!!! so much space to run! Area was clean. I was a bit uncertain where to park, and what areas i was allowed to walk with the dogs.

Great afternoon for a walk! Always appreciate the communication from the host and love this location. The dogs had a great time and the people got some sun and fresh air. And the husky caught a mouse.

Always a good time here! Great spot to let our reactive dog wander and sniff, and a good opportunity to work on recall. 

We have two dogs and one is very reactive so he doesn’t do well at the off leash dogs parks. We were looking for a place to bring them to run around freely to play. This had tonnes of space for them. We will definitely return!

Spring is here and this sniffspot is green and woodsy with lots for the pups to explore. The owners have done great things with the road to the back field - the wire fence has been removed and they've been tidying up some of the underbrush. Highly recommend this location for a nice jaunt. There is a little bit of a pond at bottom of the hill by the entrance, so if your dog, like mine, enjoys the squishy feeling of mud between their toes, you might want to bring a towel...

Nice area! Exactly as described on the site. The reservation emails had clear instructions and directions. Clean and there was a garbage can and items for use right where you parked.

Old Yellers 40 Acre Sniffspot was a great place to take my 7 month old puppy to let her explore without distractions of other dogs and people. We will be returning! Thanks!

This spot was great! There was a lot for our dogs to explore and we saw so many different kinds of birds! This would be a great place to let your big dogs off leash and just run and romp! And there’s fencing along the property lines to keep your dogs safe from going on other’s property!

This was lovely. Well worth the drive for our 2 dogs, 1 of which is a little unpredictable with other dogs. Easy to find. The ground is quite uneven so if you are an ankle roller like me just watch your step and let your dogs have the time of their lives.

This is the 3 or 4th time I’ve been and it’s been a relaxing walk with my puppy every time! The mowed “pathways” around the back lot were great to walk on!

The spot to park was easy to find and clearly labeled. You pass by some old farm outbuildings to get to the path to the field. The path goes through a wooded area, which was quite lovely. We kept our boy on leash until this point. After the woods is the large field which is hemmed in on all sides by a treeline which the pagewire fence runs along. The field is a mix of cut areas and long grass. Our boy loved bounding through the tall grass. Didn't see a soul. It was a peaceful walk for us, and an exciting mix of zooming and snuffling for the pup. Theres no pathways through the woods, which would have made the space really great. That aside, I know we'll be back again!

First time at Old Yellers. Location easy to find. Our pup loves running free and exploring new areas. She is unpredictable with other dogs at times so this allowed her to enjoy some free time on a beautiful day off leash to run and frolic through the path and field. Very good response time from owner after booking online, and directions and details of the land to explore made our time a ease. Chairs 🪑 to take a break available as well as garbage can handy, and extra long leashes to borrow if needed. Would definitely recommend!

The 40 acre lot is our little gem - we visit here a couple of times a week for a good leg stretch and when I need a mental break from city walks. It's become our happy place, and the retriever always protests when it comes time to leave.
