DRAGONFLY DOG PARK RULES

DOGS
1. Dog owners and handlers (and not our park volunteers or directors) are RESPONSIBLE and LIABLE for the actions of their dogs and any minors with them.
2. All dogs must be spayed/neutered and be at least 5 months old.
3. All dogs must be flea-free and on quality flea & tick control.
4. Dogs must be healthy and up-to-date on their distemper, parvo & rabies vaccines. Bordetella vaccines are recommended. Your records are required to be on file.
5. Dogs must be collared with current rabies and ID tags.
6. Multiple dogs per handler must be pre-approved.
PEOPLE
1. Use of this park and our trails requires membership, and all guests must be pre-approved. Do not open the gate for anyone without a key tag to preserve our park's safety.
2. Children younger than 15 years or shorter than 4'5\" are not permitted in off-leash areas without prior approval.
3. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
4. Please bring fresh water for your dog.
5. Keep your leash on your person at all times.
6. Immediately clean up your dog's stool.
7. Immediately fill in and pack down holes dug by your dog.
8. SHF Directors reserve the right to ask anyone to leave at any time for any reason.
PROHIBITED

BEHAVIOR
1. Drop your dogs' energy level BEFORE entering this park. Go for a well-paced side-by-side walk or run first, if need be.
2. No ball playing or frisbee throwing in main play yard (we have a separate area for this).
3. Gates must be kept closed at all times.
4. CALMLY get dogs moving at your side at the FIRST sign of over-excitement.
5. CALMLY remove dogs from the area at the FIRST sign of aggression.
6. CALMLY redirect your dog if he runs up to incoming dogs with a raised tail.
