No frills. This yard is a wonderful place for dogs to play and run. Owners can sit in the swing while dogs run and play. It's a great place to throw the Chuckit! (provided), as your dog(s) can really stretch their legs in a full-out run. We love it here, and we hope you do too. *Along the fenceline closest to the driveway, there is a fair amount of sweetgum balls - the sticky/prickly ones. Caution there w/ pups' paws! Rest of the yard is clean. There is a wooden Rack in between the garage doors which holds the Chuck-it. Pls put back! There are security cameras monitoring the driveway and gate into the property for your protection. Resident dogs cannot be seen from the yard, but will most likely bark when you pull up. Welcome to Brockett Bark! 🐾 Friends have told us our backyard feels like a small city park: a fully fenced 1.2 acre property lined with trees that provide lots of shade and privacy. It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. We are on 12 acres mostly wooded. There is a creek on the backside of the property. Which is also where the main acreage is and a trail. You can park outside the gated area if stay on the frontside of the property…most of that acreage is on the left when you pull down the driveway. Or, if given enough notice I can put our dog inside. That way you can pull down and park near the horse trailer. Either direction you take if you go on the backside of the house there is a trail. If you follow that trail to the right you will see the creek further back. Open from 9AM to 7PM Daily with approval or reservation. Fire pit is available for use with prior approval. You must provide your own wood/fire log., make sure the fire is completely out and clean up behind yourself. There are 3 chair around the fire pit. Solar powered string lights are hung that light the fire pit area which come on automatically. We also sell fresh chicken eggs. With enough notice and quantity wanted you can buy them in 1/2 dozen or dozen increments. $4 for 1/2 dozen and &8 for a dozen.

"Paws On Parkwood" is a small 1 acre fully fenced field at the front of our property. This field is shared with our goats, all goats have been hand raised and will be in their dedicated area at the time of your visit. This area is fully fenced and has areas of trees, maintained grass, unmaintained grass (goat feed) and patch type woods along the property line. Pull into the driveway and park in front of the "Parking" sign that will be on the right, close to the house. To enter the field, follow the driveway halfway back down the driveway to the gate with the "Paws On Parkwood" sign.
