We’re reinforcing fencing with chicken wire. Neighbours to left (facing house) have no dog, neighbours to right have a medium sized dog who can be vocal but is rarely outside. We are in the process of setting up a barrier so fence fighting can be avoided - we have never had this happen but like to be cautious. This is in a residential neighbourhood so keep that in mind. You will see a white address sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage (just not blocking garage door). After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is enclosed on three sides, keeping the wind and weather out during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. YOU MUST MESSAGE me before the visit to ask for us so we can make that ready for you if it is available. That space is in an area marked private property. We enjoy our peaceful, scenic, 3 acres with our Doberman Piper. We are 35 minutes from Fremont Bridge, in Hwy 30. I participate in dog sports and enjoy taking Piper with me as much as able. I thought others may enjoy our property with their dog as much as we do with ours. As you pull off Columbia River Hwy (hwy 30) towards the Warren Country Inn restaurant (56575 Columbia river hwy, warren, Or 97053) stay left towards the guard rail. You will see a dead-end road sign with a Sniffspot sign underneath it. This is our driveway. Follow and stay left up the hill past the barn & past the goats. Our property has the 2-story gold house on it. You will see on your left a green sign with our address 56441. You will park on your right, by the Sniffspot parking sign. This unfenced, large, mowed field to the right is yours to enjoy and is only part of the 3 acres you get to play in. Straight ahead, towards the 2-car garage, there is a picnic table under the trees. Feel free to use this. Dogs love to jump on it. Look to the far right and you will see a 6-foot chain link fence. Walk across the field and the entrance is to your left. Just follow the chain link fence to left for the gate. Inside of this area is a fully fenced, 5 to 6 feet tall area to train or play. This area is about 100 ft by 50 ft wide. Inside of the chain link area is an agility jump, large container of chuck its, tugs, other toys and orange cones for dog training. There is also a water bowl with water that will be cleaned between guests. When it is hot out, I will have a kiddie pool with water so your dogs can cool down. There are 2 chairs to sit in when in the fenced area. Feel free to bring whatever you would like to play with to the big grass field area to enjoy. We would appreciate it if you can put it back inside the fenced area when you are finished with the items. If you continue to the left of the chain link entrance, you will see several steps down to the seasonal stream. It’s either a pond or a stream, depending on if the beavers damn it or the damn breaks. Feel free to let your dog explore this area. The mud is soft. During the summer, its more on the dry side. From the steam continue to the left and follow the stream. When you get to the tall trees straight ahead there will be a box of poop bags, next to the seasonal stream. Our neighbor’s property is behind these bags on the right in the green house, they are not crazy about people going onto their property. Best to not let your dog go that direction. So go left up the hill towards the orchard. Feel free to pick a couple apples during the fall. This will get you to the front, by the picnic table and you will be able to see your car from the top of the orchard. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms on site, however as you will see the Warren Country inn is right by our home. You can go there during business hours to use their bathroom. Or grab something to go to eat on our picnic table. We have an added attraction of moles. My Dobie loves trying to find them. Beware of holes that we may have missed filling in between guests. We do have a variety of unknown mushrooms growing during autumn and some other wet months. If the ball or toy goes over the fence to our neighbor’s yard, just leave it there. Don’t go and get it. We will get later. Please pick up after yourself and your dog. No smoking or vaping please. No drugs or alcohol. Please no glass

You are welcome to help yourself to the raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries in the summer. There will be a shade umbrella next to the sofa and table. We really enjoyed this Sniffspot. It was perfect for my active husky as well as the 2 senior dogs. The ground and fence are well maintained, and there's water dishes with a hose and toys available. The most beautiful thing was waiting for us- a small bouquet of daffodils with a personalized welcome message. It was our first visit here, and it was the last adventure for my oldest guy, who we said goodbye to a couple of hours later. The small gesture meant the wold to me.

This is a really beautiful spot to visit in almost any weather. The view is spectacular even when you can’t see the three mountains. It’s been wet and rainy, but the field is on a hill, so there is no problem with super wet and muddy spots. I still recommend wearing boots until things become dry, though. Our three dogs were in heaven. Two of them had their nose to the ground most of the time and seemed delirious with all the good smells. The Aussie really enjoyed the long views. The fence was very sturdy, and we didn’t see any places where the dogs could wiggle through. The Sniffspot had a nice selection of toys, so there was a lot of keep away and tug games. We will definitely be back!

This sniff spot was awesome! The fencing was very secure and the area was clean. There are toys to play with, bowls with water and poop bags with a trash can. The view was so pretty and our dog absolutely loved running as fast as he could throughout the whole area. We will be back and would definitely recommend!

Easily the most beautiful Sniffspot we’ve been to! Even the drive there is lovely. Very large green space, plenty of room to tire out a big dog. Toys, water, seating for humans, all the necessities. Very calm and peaceful and the view is amazing. We were lucky enough to be there during a patch of sunshine. We will be back for sure!

Rufus had so much fun today! Could not have asked for a better time. Grounds are well maintained and the parking spot is graveled so it’s easy to clean yourself and dog off before climbing into the car. The property is gorgeous, the spot is nestled between vast orchards and a meadow of flowers. Host left a sweet little bunch of daffodils. We will be back! Thank you.

Great spot! Lovely view, open space, dedicated parking and beautiful new fencing. Only downside for me was that there are some underground critters which our dogs love to dig for and I was worried because I did not know if that was a problem.

Ellie and I had such a fun time here! The spot was super easy to find, easy parking in the gravel lot right next to the entrance, and the views were stunning. They have a hose there, so you have water as needed to fill the bowls, and there are plenty of toys to choose from in the toy bin. There is also a potty station with bags and a trash bin in case your dog does a #2 while you're here. It had everything we could have needed and the flowers the owner left on the gate for us with a personal note was such a sweet touch. My pup did not want to leave when our hour was up and I don't blame her. This place is AWESOME! Thank you for creating such a great spot; we will definitely be back soon!

We decided to give it a try and check out this Sniffspot. It was amazing! Finding the Spot and parking: It was our first time at this location. I really appreciated the signs at the entrance to this spot that clearly let you know IT IS a "Sniffspot" spot. There were clear signs posted around the property that let you know what the RULES are, PARKING, ENTRANCE, etc. The ease of access from the road to the gate of the fenced play area are also a huge plus. Amenities: No need to spend all your time packing your toys and water for the dog park. This place had everything! Clean running water, water bowls, doggy bags, doggy bag dispenser, hand sanitizer on the dispenser(yay!), more toys than your dog will need, and a picnic table to put your leashes on and rest your feet for a second. The view is beautiful and allows you to really feel at peace with your dog. Reserving: Reserving was easy and the host was very friendly and quick to reply to my message prior to arriving. There was a clear warning about the holes online so, although it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected nor have seen at many parks, I was grateful for it. We chose to reserve 2 time slots to allow our dogs to enjoy the area a bit longer and meet all their needs, even the mental stimulation that the vole holes brought. They're not diggers, thankfully, they just stuff their noses as deep as they can and pop up looking like they have a "dirt stache"! We will be returning to this Sniffspot! 5/5 stars. If there was an option for more I would give them all the stars! Our kids had just as much fun as the pups. Dog friendly, user friendly and kid friendly. Best dog park experience I've had. Our super big over reactive dogs had a blast. They only lasted 45 minutes. They are escape artists, but this spot really is secure. We had no worries about them getting away. Fresh water available with a hose to refill the bowls. Big bucket of toys as well!

We visited yesterday on our way in from the coast and will be stopping by again today on our way back home. We were greeted by a lovely bouquet of daffodils, parking is right by the gate so all 5 dogs were able to unload right into the very secure and well maintained spot. Beautiful, peaceful place! It’s close to home, has an incredible view, and the picnic table to sit at was an added bonus after a long work day. It was well maintained, stocked with toys, and had a clean drinking bowl. The hose being available was much appreciated. Lumen can be picky about drinking after other dogs, so she was happy not drinking another dogs backwash and I was happy to not have to share my water bottle :) My only critique is that I wish the agility course was usable for large breeds as well. She was happy here, as was I. We’ll definitely be back!

While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
