Rent safe and private dog fields hosted by locals in Vernon, British Columbia

We had a wonderful time with our dogs at Grace’s wooded slice of paradise.  There was a ton of space for our dogs to run and we appreciated the varied terrain. There are trails through the property and the whole are is fenced in nicely. One of our dogs escaped under the entry gate so perhaps a small gate extension could be a suggested improvement but the gate just led to a fenced backyard so it was no trouble that the dog went under the gate once.  Loved the creek for romping and water play. Thanks for allowing us to play and run!

A great time as always -- Dog likes the cold weather and ran around like a madman. Or mad dog.

Oh. My. Gosh. This is THEEEE most incredible find. Grace is the sweetest human ever (even as my hounds were barking and screaming at her from the car). Her property is absolutely stunning. Couldn't believe this was actually completely fenced in. The dogs ran for about 1.5hrs until one chased a heron into the marsh and submerged himself and decided he was ready to go home at that point. It was just spectacular, I felt like we truly were hiking out in the woods all by ourselves without having to worry about another hiker sneaking around the corner. The dogs ran and ran and are now passed out at home. We cannot wait to book our next trip to this incredible gem of a spot. Thank you for sharing your space, Grace. We loved it.

Instructions were clear and Grace greeted us at the beginning of the visit to show us to the gate. Our Golden Irish had a blast. We were able to enjoy the visit as well knowing the area was fully fenced.

Best Sniffspot and nicest host we’ve been to. Grace was very nice and explained the details of our visit. The place is very well kept. We had a great time going up and down the hill and exploring the little trails. Our dog who loves the water enjoyed a quick splash before we left. We will definitely be back. This spot is highly recommended.

WOW! This spot is absolutely beautiful for humans, and a DOGGY DREAM ADVENTURE COME TRUE. It far exceeded any expectation I had, and is WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. There is a creek, meadows and a forest with sniffs and nature sounds forever. My terrier never ceased exploring at full tilt, while my Shih Tzu and I were very pleased with the benches conveniently placed along the way. I had toys with me, but they never left the bag. Both pups were passed out on the drive home. Miraculous, as my terrier has NEVER slept in the car regardless of how many hours the trip! This truly is a mini mountain so I would recommend some study shoes and water for humans as well as pups. It took us an hour to explore just the perimeter, so book for at least two hours to really experience this amazing property. There are many lovely places for a picnic. The property is fenced, but a good recall would be good as you can easily lose sight of your pups in the forest. You briefly pass a horse and goats while leashed on the way in, but no other animals or humans once over the bridge, so I would recommend for reactive dogs.

Second time here, even better than the first if possible. This forest is magical. I felt at peace and centered and my dogs had the time of their life sniffing and exploring. It is beautiful and the hosts are great!

We went with a group of dogs, kids, and adults and we all left wet and happy (the kids and dogs more so then the adults)! We loved exploring and playing and ended our time with everyone getting in the creek. Thank goodness we brought towels! Thank you for hosting such a fun spot. We’ll have tired dogs tonight!

Wow, this place really is a treat for dogs (and humans). Grace is such a gracious and welcoming host. The Sniff Spot area is well suited for exploring and enjoying nature without the worry of encountering others or your dogs getting lost while off leash. The property is very well maintained with wooded trails. As others suggest, good footwear is recommended. My dogs had so much fun running up the hills and adventuring on this property. There are picnic tables and an outhouse which makes it especially appealing if you are driving a distance to get there and want to be able to enjoy the property for a few hours. Definitely recommend more than one hour to truly explore and enjoy the visit. We can't wait to return!

Dog hadn't been off-leash for a couple of weeks, and he went nutso today in the mini-forest. So many zoomies that he was almost too tired to play in the creek on the way to the car. Almost.
