K9 Corner - Private Dog Run in Webster Groves

This is a privately owned empty residential lot (not a backyard) however there is a neighbor next to the property with a driveway in between. Property is a “pie shape” approximately 2,000 sqft. Fenced section is approximately 130’L with one end at 30’W and the other end at 6’. Entrance is at the corner of Atalanta Avenue and Glen Road. Street parking is on Glen Road (long fence side). The city does not allow signs (see photos for more clarification). This is a residential neighborhood; you will most likely see other people and dogs during your visit but not in the park with you. This is a self regulated private dog park / dog run similar to a regular dog park. There is not water on site however a bowl will be left on site (typically inside the toy box to keep it clean). A pet waste station is available along with a “used” poop bag bucket, trash receptacle, and some dog toys. Please remember to clean up after your dogs, put away toys, and throw away trash. Pesticide free - consider bringing bug spray. To keep moles away, mole spikes that vibrate in the ground are in use and you can hear a buzzing noise. The sand pit / tire area is for digging - please try to keep all digging isolated to the designated area only and try to fill in any holes dug by your dog outside of the pit area. Sun sail is up during spring/summer months only - that’s what the poles are for - no climbing please (currently the sun sail is not being used per the city requests). Patio umbrellas can be lifted up (use crank) during your visit and MUST BE RETRACTED and use the secure strap at the end of your visit (please use common sense and do not put the umbrellas up if it’s super windy). There is a 5 dog max. We prefer no more than 3 humans to 1 dog. Please note. This park is for dogs to enjoy. This park is NOT a playground for kids/adults. The obstacles, agility equipment, and toys are for the dogs. Humans should not be climbing on the equipment or mis-using the toys. The neighbor does not want toys or tennis balls hitting their vehicles. If we see this type of behavior or rules not being followed, you will potentially be banned from future reservations. *Please understand this is mostly a self-regulated dog run/park. You MUST cleanup after your dog. However sometimes poop gets missed and I give everyone the benefit of the doubt it’s not done intentional. We want all visitors to have a great experience at K9 Corner.* **This spot is not a business to make money for profit. All proceeds are considered donation for upkeep of the dog run, lawn maintenance, dog toys, etc. If you have questions/comments/concerns, please text 314-384-2279.**

Open 24/7, well lit at night, shaded patio area with fans on hot days, kiddy pool & splash pad for dogs that want to dip, drinks for humans, fire pit to use on cold nights, just let me know your request!! WiFi available. Alexa available. Poop bags/trash can available. Indoor restroom available if we are home and awake 😊 cell number and other info is on patio table. Please note *if you book your reservation after midnight and it’s for any time between 3am-9am the same day, there’s a possibility I won’t see it in time to prepare. This means there might be a couple of “unclean” spots in the yard from my dogs being let out the night before. *Extras are available for an extra charge. They are: Agility Equipment Setup, Firepit, propane patio heater, BBQ Grill, Birthday Pup decor. You will find them listed in “Extras” when you book your reservation.

Hilly ground for exercise,, fully fenced. Camper on site for observation purposes when occupied. Garden to sell vegetables through the spring, summer and fall. Horse shoe pits on site for the adults if they want to do something a little different while their dog is playing onsite. Shoes provided for a minimal fee fresh water on site and dog food if needed as well as a large bag of snacks for the way out/home. Dogs are Able to run freely as long as dog is UTD on their shots, no history of biting, but muzzle if so, and no other dogs are on site at the same time (Dogs can be very temperamental or protective over what they think is theirs sometimes. Can register online with me, call for reservations, and will be required to fill out a small form upon arrival.

Peaceful and well maintained spot with everything you'd need for a special day with your furry friend! We went at 5pm and it was shady, so kept us cool. There were other dogs, cars, and walkers occasionally visible through the fence but not up close since the park is up on a hill. Our dog especially loved digging in the sand pit. It felt very secure.

Wonderful spot! My fiancé was really impressed with the handy work that went into creating it. For reactive pet parents, I will say that there is some potential for triggers (barking, dogs across the street/next door). None of that is really in the owner’s control.

K9 Corner was the perfect spot to take my daughter’s dog while I was dog sitting. My yard is not fenced so he was always on a leash. He had the freedom of roaming and exploring, and I had the comfort of knowing he was safe in this lovely enclosed space. The benches and large umbrellas gave me a break from the sweltering heat. Would highly recommend!

This was a very clean and secured fenced in area. The host provided toys too, which was a nice plus. You can hear and see dogs from the spot, so if your dog is reactive it might not be a good spot for you to visit. It is up on a hill though, so the dogs walking by are at a distance. There were a few homeowners who had their dogs out without being on a leash off their property walking around though, so something to be aware of as you enter and leave the spot. With them not being leashed there is the potential they could run right up to the fence. This is all out of the hosts control though. The host had good communication prior to arrival with instructions. Other dog owners lack of responsibility might be enough to cause us not to visit the spot again. We also heard some yelling 2 houses over while we were there too. Since I foster and rescue dogs seeing/hearing other dogs and yelling can give my dog anexity, which put a damper on the visit.
