We bought this property for our dogs, and have invested heavily in creating an off-leash haven for them. We have 3 separately fenced areas that all connect by gates. Entry to Cody and Lovey's Legacy park is through what we call the "Sniff Lounge" - a lean-to type covered porch filled with straw to roll and dig in, and lots of smells to uncover. The Sniff Lounge leads to the lightly wooded Explorium - a shaded area with hanging food puzzle toys, barrels, and natural obstacles for dogs to explore. The Explorium leads to our Green Space - a large, open fenced yard with shade and sun, a pool, and some additional obstacles, jumps, a homemade creek and waterfall and a tunnel. You and your dog are welcome to use the pool, but please be aware that there is no dog ramp. You will have to help your dog navigate the stairs to get out. Do not use the pool if you are not willing to get in with your dog! We have the homemade creek and waterfall (just turn the hose nozzle on) and a baby pool for dogs who can't get in the human pool. At the back of the Green Space, you'll see another gate that leads to the Wooded Grove. The Wooded Grove is also fully fenced and has a couple trails cut in to the woods, with some chairs to relax in. The Wooded Grove is not large, but dogs love it, and it feels so nice and cool even on super hot days. It's a place for dogs to get their Sniff on for sure. Cody and Lovey's Legacy Park is named in honor of our past friends, who would have really enjoyed this wonderful spot.

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. Fully fenced .5 acre for doggies to get their zoomies out! There is a little shade from trees from both the front yard and backyard, all fenced in, and with a doggie pool! I have a shed and a front porch that provides some shade as well. I would love to have a happy place for your doggies, I have always been a dog lover!

The yard is partially fenced, so there is many places your dog could get out of the yard. The direct line to the road is fenced though! Please do not use or let your dog in or on the pool. It’s not dog rated. All other areas are open. House does have an outdoor cat on property, he is used to cat aggressive dogs (but only leashed) I don’t know how he’d react to an unleashed dog chasing him. Normally he’s gone during the day or if he knows a dog is in the back yard.

You will have 8 acres fenced in to roam. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are in the black cabinet inside the carport. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. At any time, you can request more seating. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. Fence: The fence is four feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. On other sides we have wire and chain link. *There are critters that like to lift up our wire fencing. Just beware if you have a tiny dog.* Wildlife: You may see snakes, rabbits, deer, and squirrels. There have been times that deer will be stuck inside our fencing. * We see hawks occasionally. Please watch your little dogs* Grounds: It is a hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. ** Watch out for fire ant hills** Water: You have access to our well and a large water bowl. There should be at least one small water bowl in the carport as well.

11/23- We are back open! The field is ready and the trail to the beach has been cleared. I have been working hard to get this site running again for everyone to enjoy. Please realise the businesses around this park are still cleaning up. There is a security guard patrolling the area and keeping an eye on the buildings and my park. They are nice people and have my number if needed. Please enjoy the park again but be gentle in the area. 11/19- The site has been mowed and my dogs have spent several hours there at different times without illness or issue. We are hoping to open by the end of this coming weekend. 11/13 the fencing has been repaired, the gazebo is back in place and my dogs have been out there visiting without issue. We will be cutting the trail to the beach in the next two weeks then we will be ready to open. 9/28- heavy damage due to flooding. Closed until I can rebuild. Sites 1, 2, and 4 are open for your pups and your continued patronage would be a great help to me and this site. Access is possible to those sites. Thank you for your understanding. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s been designed for complete privacy for you and your pets. No drive by traffic no people walking by, just you and your kids on 4 flat acres. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoy off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. This area is not fenced. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, hammock and umbrella, are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided and even a game of horse shoes for humans! I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

Welcome to Lucy’s half acre private dog park where you, your family, friends and furry companions can run, play, explore, exercise, relax, and even have a picnic. It’s a great and safe place to be with your loved ones. The park is securely fenced and private. There are trees, a shade sail canopy and a nice area covered shelter with a roof and fan to get away from the elements. We provide chairs, hammocks, a glider, a picnic table, kids play equipment, dog toys, water, etc. The park has a slope which can provide a great way for you and your pup to exercise. A nice big area for your pooch to dig is available as well as plenty of spots for your dog to roam and explore. Some areas are uneven and hilly which adds to the fun of exploring. Our backyard is fully fenced and has several trees. It has many birds and squirrels if your dog loves squirrel hunting. It’s pretty open and flat perfect for Zoomies! There will no animals other on site.

This is a nice open spot for you to walk your dog on leash if needed or leash free if able -please be considerate and clean up after use. thanks and I plan to put out a suggestion box soon.

We have just over a 1/2 acre of open land with both a creek and a pond for our doggy friends to come and enjoy. Trees do provide some shade for both doggy and human friends.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF BEARS! I have had a bear in the back yard a few times recently. They jump fences! If you need a better idea of where it is, it's within walking distance of the East Asheville Farmer's Market, Library, Fire Department, and Wells Fargo. I'm also close to Bull Mountain Rd. A few Announcements: While I make every effort to ensure that my roommate and other guests have cleaned up after their dogs, I have occasionally been informed that they have not. So I must now update the description accordingly. I welcome you to partake of my beautiful backyard in a peaceful neighborhood- as long as you are aware it is possible there is occasional dog poo. Also be advised that if you are extremely sensitive to poison ivy, be aware there may be some in some parts of the yard. If your dog is a curious sort, be aware that there is some yard equipment being stored under the deck and this area is open and not blocked off. I cannot anticipate every guest's need, but I am happy to offer my yard for a small fee to those who understand what is being offered. Thank you! Also, if you should happen to encounter my neighbor in the back left of the yard, please be advised he is unfortunately a little senile and has been known to be a nuissance to several of his neighbors. I don't want to scare you off, as we love our yard and will continue using our yard in the ways we see fit. If his (small) dogs come out while you are there, please be careful with your dogs, and please take anything he says with a grain of salt-, he unfortunately sometimes behaves like your classic grumpy old man. We apologize in advance for anything he says and are working on a solution. It may take some time for that to be implemented. Recommendations: 1) Please clean up after your dog. 2) If you book an evening time, be prepared with a flashlight, or know when the sun sets. I have outside lights, but I can't guarantee they will always be on, and they don't illuminate the whole yard. The space: A wide open space with rolling hills for your dogs to play, while you enjoy the view. *The sprinkler is actually a garden hose that is a "soaker" hose. It sprays water out of it like a sprinkler. There are plenty of sticks you can throw for the dog to fetch. (The location is 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 minutes to Downtown Asheville, and close to the Folk Art Center. The newly renovated Haw Creek library and playground, Creekside Tavern, and High Five Coffee are just down the street. You can also walk to the Haw Creek Farmer's Market from here on Fridays, 3-6 pm. You can walk straight from to the Mountain to Sea trail from here without having to drive, and hike to Lunchbox rock (seen in pictures here.) I included the porch pictures so you could see the sunset. :) ) There is hand sanitizer, sunblock and bug spray under the stairs, under the side of the bottom step that you are welcome to use.i
