55Pretty shady spot. Lots to stuff to sniff but still a decent space to throw a ball. Too much foliage on the ground for my small dog to really run around but my big dog had a great time. Hosts were lovely, toys and plenty of fresh water were a nice touch. As others have mentioned, fence is lower on one side. I wouldn’t bring my dog if they were an escape artist but otherwise it’s fine. Parking was not available as described but found a spot easily enough down the street. Sarah N.

55Such a beautiful garden and a lot of room for my pup to explore. There was a wiggle ball and my dog had never experienced that before, so that was big fun. Lily is very sweet and conscientious. I would definitely recommend.Lisa F.

55What a great oasis for my nervous reactive pup. A lot of space and a gorgeous garden, many things to sniff and enough space to play a tiring game of fetch. There are a good amount of steps, and longer haired dogs will get a certain amount of debris to clean out of their fur. You could hear a dog and chickens nearby but just enough distance that my dog was curious but not over threshold which is perfect for training/desensitizing. all in all my dog and I can’t wait to be back!Roxy T.

55Lovely yard with lots of sniffing and exploring. Our pup had TPLO surgery 6 months ago and is still a bit stiff sometimes so the amount of stairs was too much for him by the end, but for the average dog that shouldn’t be a problem.
The resident dog was audible, but not visible at any time. Their neighbor was doing some yard work, and at one point we did catch a glimpse of their neighbors dog while we were at the top level (their yard was below us). Their dog never made any noise and was only visible very briefly.
We’ll have to wait till our pup is further along with his healing before coming back, but it’s a lovely yard for sniffing!Rose L.

55This place is really lovely. There is a lot of shade, places to sit, water bowls for the dogs, interesting things for the dogs to sniff and explore. The garden is really beautiful. My dogs had a blast running around, and we will be back again!
There are definitely foxtails. Not many actual stalks of the grass, but the ground had a lot of the seed pods covering it, especially towards the back/left of the yard. I can't fault the owners for this because it is soooo hard to get rid of foxtails and it's clear that they try. I'm especially cautious because my dog has already had 2 removed from his nose this year so we are very risk-averse. Others might not be.
Thank you for having us at your lovely home!Ali S.

55What a wonderful backyard! Daisy had so much fun exploring and sniffing around! There was a dog next door that barked a bit and spooked Daisy to start, but the owner was able to quite them shortly. Daisy quickly warmed up and began to feel safe and comfortable. Will be coming back :-)Alyssa R.

55Perfect for reactive dogs who need to get their energy out safely without the distraction of other animals and people. There were a couple of foxtails around but for how large of a yard it is, the owners did a great job keeping the fox tails at bay. Lots of things for the doggos to sniff and explore here.
The yard is really spacious and a bit slope-y so one of our senior chihuahua with arthritis did have some issues going up and down the steep stairs so keep that in mind, but he had a lot of fun nonetheless because there’s a good amount of area that is flatter for him to run around and enjoy. I would definitely bring my reactive dogs here again!Tiffany H.

55My foster doggy and I had a great time! Of course I missed the big bucket of toys at the entry. But we found a tennis ball and were worn out by the end. The yard is very spacious and beautiful. The chain link fence that connects the neighbors yard is definitely low if you have a jumper. We never know with these fosters. So something to take in consideration. We will be back for sure! Thank you ❤️Nicole S.

55For our pup: plenty of space to sniff around and play fetch, multiple water bowls and some toys. Our Zel got out all his energy and is very tired now:)

55This place is was great for my dog. It’s really spacious so she had a chance to run and sniff around freely. All the vegetation kept the place cool and you could really relax in the shades. I loved it!
There was a dog we could hear bark from the house nearby which was a bit triggering for Kimmy but it was a great opportunity for positive reinforcement training. We’ll be coming back there for sure. Vessy A.

55Celebrated my dog's birthday at Miriam's sniffspot. Both dogs had way too much fun. Space was massive, tons of shaded spots and seating area for the humans. The sniffspot is well taken care of. There's a small set of stairs and slope, but my senior pup did not have any issues navigating the area. There were definitely LOTS of sniff spots for the dogs, they had so much fun they were so well rested and slept the rest of the day. Miriam came out to check on us as we were leaving and she's such a wonderful person! Will definitely come back again if we're ever in the area. Elle T.

55I walk my dog on-leash every day but her reactivity to other dogs keeps us out of dog parks where she would have been able to run freely. This sniffspot is a beautiful backyard with several levels for my dog to explore. She had so much fun zooming up and down the garden steps. I highly recommend a visit!Rina A.

FAQ about our Brentwood fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
How can I find fully fenced dog parks in Brentwood?

How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?
Many people looking for fully fenced parks have dogs that are not good with voice control. Start by applying basic filters, such as fences height and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. You can see attributes of fences such as height, gaps and fencing type to find the perfect fenced-in space for dogs. You can filter by size to make sure you have plenty of space, or a smaller space if you prefer a neighborhood park. You can browse on a map by park location to find one in your city or near your city. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
