Close in town, but yet country setting on dead end road, 15 acres total, dog park is at front entrance on left. We started a smaller one several years ago, but then decided to wait and build a 6ft fence dog park in front and just finished it Sept 21, 2024! Still adding amenities! Will be open 24 hours after lighting is installed, hopefully soon! I only have 1 neighbor w 2 dogs about 1 acre away which they are not out till late afternoon, there is a train track but no horn, 2 acre park is at front of my 15 acres. I am here 98 percent of the time, I have a horse, 2 donkeys, 3 cats and 2 dogs. My dogs are kept in the house while park is in use. Cats are free roaming but usually stay behind house in barn area or on my back porch. We welcome suggestions as well, as everyone may want different things. Occasionally you will see Deer, Owls, Hawks, Buzzards and my horse and donkeys can sometimes be seen but are several acres away from the dog park. We also have some large tow dumpsters on the property that come and go down the driveway occasionally when they are rented out.

We are a private home business on a shared property of 28 acres. We are not fenced but are pushed farther back on the property for privacy. You have access to our walking trail, which leads back to a pond and creek several acres behind our house. Your dog is welcome to run, Sniff and play as much as they want. We provide treats, snacks, leashes, and even an outdoor grooming tub to rinse off your furry friend after your playtime adventure. Towels also provided. We have a small outdoor run in case you need to house one of your pets while you visit us. You will also have access to water, electricity, and don't hesitate to make use of our hammock, outdoor furniture, and fire pit! Trash cans, dog bags, dog treats, human snacks and drinks will also be available. While we don't have a "public" restroom, someone will usually always be on site. We are a working farm and sanctuary. We have guest critters that come and go, we also have a few permanent residence. Please respect the property and the surroundings. Make yourself at home with your doggies and humans while you are here. Enjoy the hammocks, picnic tables, chairs, the creek and enjoy the trails as well. Please be courteous and pick up after yourself and your pets as well. We hope you enjoy your time here along with your fur babies and hope you’ll come back and see us again soon. Please do not enter any of the buildings on the property and no matter what the critters tell you they are not allowed to get out of their safe zones while visitors are on our property. Please do not feed the critters anything other than what is provided specifically for that critter. This is a working sanctuary with guest changes all the time, also be aware that this is the “country”, you may encounter wildlife and insects from time to time. Be careful while exploring. There are no human restrooms available on the property.

There are trees lining the fence and a small wet weather pond. Mostly open yard area for running and sniffing! Ideal for bigger and non reactive dogs. Outside kitchen can be used to rinse off in sink or grab a cold water from mini fridge. Poop bags, towels, and dog treats provided for your convenience. There is also a water hose and towels provided to rinse off dogs if they get too dirty.

We're in Ellis County just N of Waxahachie. It's nice and quiet and we have horses you can pet too!

Tons of trees and open space to run and explore. Occasionally some wildlife such as squirrels, armadillos, turtles, etc. Two tanks depending on rain levels and season. Cats and chickens roam property as well.

are real picky about that so I think I'm not going to I just don't know what I would do about that thing I'm going to wait and maybe get some comments on the treats and stuff I may get some of those balls and peanut butter in them something like that but then again I don't think animals are having large allergies to peanuts like humans but the last thing I want to do is provide food that the parents don't allow the dog to I hope this explanation along with the pictures gives you an idea of what me and my boys can offer your family. And although I'm 52 I'm still very teachable so I will be open for any suggestions at any time because this will be a new venture for me even though I've had animals in my life my entire life of all kinds and I keep animals for their entire lifetime. In answering all these questions I realized I might need to get a permit from the City of Garland which is one of the reasons why I will not open for several weeks but I will keep my profile updated. Outside of starting and not for profit equestrian farm for horses that for whatever views or what have you this is the next best thing. Last but not least, I personally am a extreme believer in my boys health when it comes to the yard. Not only for their safety but they're inside and outside dogs so whatever they walk on they bring it to my house which I'll just leave it at that. I hope this isn't too long as I do have a HUGE issue with being brief but I prefer to put everything on the table at the front end versus the back end. I am a very honest direct person can I help you be the same way with me.
