The perfect place for your canine companions to have a great time. Our park is located in a beautiful natural setting, with plenty of space for dogs to run and play. We believe that every dog deserves a safe and fun environment to play and exercise in. Our dog park has a 2 acre 5 foot fenced-in play area that has an open area for running and a small forested area that is great for sniffing. There are some obstacles to explore , an area to play fetch and run free, and a waste disposal station. Some sun , some shade and lots of room to run, sniff and explore. Enjoy clean, fresh air while your dog romps, and explores . There are natural roots and rocks in the field, some brush and a large flat grassed area. It is a field so the ground is uneven. Whether your dog loves to sniff and stroll, do zoomies, climb obstacles or play fetch there are options for all. There is parking for up to three cars, with access directly off the road. We take pride in maintaining a clean and well-managed park, so please remember to clean up after your pet and follow our park rules. We live on a beautiful farm on the Mississippi River in the middle of Arnprior, Kinburn and Pakenham. Enjoy the quietness of the country with our very private dog park! Our field is fully fenced with 6' chain link fence, including a double gate to ensure that no dog can ever escape. Water is available for the dogs, and seating is available under our beautiful trees in the shade for you. As the fall starts to get colder and winter is upon us, we do plan to stay open for the winter. We plan to snowblow parts of the field so that there is a path when the snow gets super deep, and we’ll try to keep the area directly beside the barn clear for you. This is our plan… we’ll see how it works out in reality. :) If you have snowshoes, it may be a good idea to bring them some days depending on how much snowfall we’ll get. There is a bench around the tree on the far hill for you to sit on if you like. There are very few distractions here so it is a great space for play and/or training. This was our first time visiting sniffspot. It was far more than what we expected. The area is huge, clean and gave my dog so much to explore. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. I even mentioned it was my puppy's 1st birthday and when we got there, we found a basket full of birthday hats, scarves and goodies for photo ops. This is a lovely spot to take your dogs! The large fenced yard is beautiful and comes complete with toys, a pool and splash fountain and agility equipment. The larger field is criss-crossed with paths - a fantastic place for your pooch to explore. Both the yard and the field are securely fenced. I highly recommend this Sniff Spot!

Today was my third visit to this spot and it keeps getting better and better. I just brought my younger dog with me today to check out the 8-acre field for the first time, and we had a blast running through the trails and playing hide and seek. Kazia also discovered the bungee ball in the small field and she really loved it. It's such a great spot for reactive dogs to get a chance to run free without fear of running into other dogs.

Beautiful spot, exactly as described. My dog had a great time in the yard, which was stocked with toys and had 3 different places to play in the water. The big field was great to explore and practice recall. Unfortunately for me, I went in the early evening and forgot my bug spray, so I left a bit early as I was getting eaten alive. Definitely worth it, just bring some bug spray!

Gorgeous spot, very well maintained and equipped with all sorts of fun things for dogs to do. Beautiful wildflowers and a maze of trails in the bigger field - lots to explore, practice recall or play hide-and-seek. The smaller (but not small!) yard has all sorts of fun stuff - agility obstacles, 2 pools and a sprinkler (a big hit with my dogs!), lots of toys and various interesting things to check out, plus a gazebo with very comfy chairs and a bug spray for humans. I am always a bit sceptical about bringing my nervous dog to new places, but I did not regret my choice to take her for a visit at Heather’s! What a beautifully kept, secure, clean, and huge space! My dog was right at ease immediately on arrival (a miracle if there ever was one), and played her heart out for the full hour. She even tested out some of the agility equipment available! The grounds are fantastic (did not do the upgrade, but did not need to!) and quiet, Heather was great to communicate with, and I will be back for sure :)
