Country Run's 58 Acre Private Ranch In Conifer

Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Come on over a run free on our little slice of heaven! This 2 acre hidden gem is nestled in the middle of town. Stroll along the creek, adventure through the trees or romp in the open field. This property is truly a doggo's paradise! Please park on the street in front of the gate. Stay safe, keep your fur baby leashed until both you and your dog(s) are through the gate. If you don't want a mess, stay away from the cattails as it is VERY muddy (if your dog enjoys a good mud bath, go for it!). Please pick up after yourselves and ENJOY!!!

Fully fenced, 48” pvc fence (see photos) with wire attached to prevent escape. A small pool for drinking/soaking (water will be changed between dogs). Room to run! The grass natural prairie type grass with some weeds. I do pull all thorny type weeds so there should be no sticker burs, goat heads or foxtails. I have two dogs that I will keep inside during your visit.

The Oregon Trail (Dog trail by Sedalia, CO)

Come enjoy a walk thru the woods on a private groomed trail/road. The trail is about a 1/2 mile down to a clear, open area to further enjoy, with a creek and watering hole. Much of the trail is shaded from the forest canopy. Once down by the creek, the temp is about 10 degrees cooler as well. The boundaries of the "spot" are the county road on the top side and the creek on the bottom side. *We require a completed Sniffspot profile with details and pictures of your dog(s) to confirm our guests. *To keep us and all our neighbors safe, NO SMOKING of any kind, for any reason, NO EXCEPTIONS is allowed on property.

What beautiful peaceful place! We will definitely be back. The directions are clear making it easy to find. My dog had a blast with so much space and different terrain to wander.

55Prettiest SniffSpot EVER! Walk through a beautiful grove of aspens (saving this spot for pretty leaf peeping pictures in the fall!) into an open meadow with some wildflowers (appears more will bloom soon). Went first thing in the morning so the lighting was breathtaking. Go down to The end and on the left there’s a small pond and stream. On the right there’s a bunch of rocks my dog loved climbing. He found a squeaky ball in the tall grass and was so excited and he was in heaven chomping on the tall grass like a little cow. Every thing (parking/property lines etc) is super well marked which is usually my only complaint anywhere else so I really appreciated that. Only thing I’d strongly recommend is wear to closed toe shoes and long pants since the meadow is tall grass and lots of vegetation and sticks. So glad I was dressed correctly lol My dog loved romping around and jumping over every thing. Got a little muddy so bring a towel. But also make sure to have flea and tick applied before hand just in case there’s ticks in the tall grass. But this spot was an absolute dream! So many other spots that advertise a huge amount of acres end up being disappointing since majority is not useable to play or part of a steep/dangerous area you avoid. But every where here was very much usable space for an off leash dog to just be a wild and free pup 🥰 wished I booked a longer time slot. Can’t wait to go back and to tell all my friends about this spot❤️Kristin W.

The hills are alive with the sound of music! Now THIS is a dream piece of property come true. The meadow that this place opens up into is heaven on Earth. There are some thorny weeds but we explored this spot from top to bottom and we didn't catch any cacti, goats head, or sandbur. The small muddy pond provided a nice cool down and drink for the dogs. They liked playing in the stream too. The firewood processing area was like a playground for the dogs, and they liked checking out the shooting range too. The adjacent woods were even traversable, but at times the brush got pretty thick. I'll definitely be back, but the price point will keep it from being as often as I'd like.

The perfect SniffSpot!! Instructions were clear and the provided photos helped me find the parking and entrance smoothly! My pup had the best time running in the field and on rocks and splashing in the pond. Lots of mud there but by the time we walked back through the tall grass she was clean enough for the car ride home! Would recommend long pants for walking through the meadow. I’ll 100% be back!

Stunningly beautiful mountain meadow with aspen grove. Owners had water available at the parking lot. My dogs had a wonderful time. Soft silt around the stream and watering hole makes for muddy pups, but it dried running through the tall grass and they were fine for the drive home. There are some benches at the top of the meadow. Next time I come I'll bring a little picnic for myself. Beautiful place. Happy dogs.

Absolutely amazing property. So many wild flowers and gorgeous view into the valley with all the peaks in the background. Watched a lovely sunset. We didn’t make it to the pond but the dogs had a blast running through the tall grass playing hide & seek. One of our dogs had a standoff with the fake elk in the shooting rage 😄 And love running up and down all the logs. We will definitely be back! **Watch out for the dead elk back up towards the road tucked in a tree, one of our dogs took the pleasure of rolling in it 🙃

Amazing spot! This space opens up to a beautiful meadow with fantastic views. My dog Grizzly loved running around the meadow and splashing in the water. Bonus: the wildflowers were abundant! Tons of space to explore and very private. Owners left water for dogs at the start of the trail, extra poop bags and garbage bins for easy poop bag disposal. Really thankful to these hosts for opening up such a beautiful space for us to enjoy!

Utterly amazing place. Watching the pups run free through the meadow literally felt like my "happy place". Beautiful, so much space and variety of terrain. Just the right distance from the city. And a place to put poop and get water. Just fantastic! Note: if you have mud magnets like mine, just be prepared for thick mud or avoid the spring area. #DirtyDogsHaveMoreFun

The best spot we have been to so far! My dog encountered a bunny in the woodpile right at the start of our visit and she was immediately in heaven. Lots of very hikeable forest area and a great big gorgeous meadow. I did not come across any body of water - maybe didn’t go the right direction, but it did not lessen the fun my dog and I had. I appreciated the receptacle for doggy refuse and the fresh drink water as well. Simply an awesome little trip- my pup gives 5 paws up! She didn’t even want to get back in the car after an exhausting hour of play and exploration-a first for her!

This is a beautiful spot! Our pups loved running through the trees and meadow and finding all the bones. We looked for the stream/pond but couldn’t find it. It may be dried up at this time of year or we just weren’t searching in the right spot. Regardless, it was a wonderful time. Thank you for hosting us!

This spot is so wonderful! It has everything…meadow, aspens, wildflowers, pine forest, riparian areas, big ole’ rocks, some great climbs on either side of the meadow. My dog loved getting muddy in the small pond. I’d definitely recommend pants and sturdy shoes… lots of thistle in the grassy areas. You can really only see a small part of the property with an hour time slot… we’ll definitely be back. Make sure to keep an eye on the clock… this SniffSpot is easy to get joyously lost in for hours.
