This is a huge pasture with sloped hills and plenty of space, Tree covered places to sit if you don’t want sun and many beautiful views for everyone to enjoy and play. A restful hammock hanging in another grouping of trees too! If you have never been to this spot, it is worth the drive! This spot has a small watering hole at the back corner that is a treat for any dog! There is a short fence inside to keep the pups out of the muddy area. There is a taller outside fence as well. NO DIGGING! PLEASE Please be sure to follow the driving directions. All I want is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Please pack out all trash, there are no trash cans onsite. 17 acre working farm with 50 livestock in fenced pastures. Entire farm is fenced in, including five livestock pastures and two corrals. Two turn-of-the-century barns great for photo backgrounds. Dogs can get near the fencing but not into the pastures with livestock. Mini highland cow, Irish dexter cow, alpacas, sheep, donkeys, ponies, goats - all in pastures and safely fenced off.

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

Welcome to Pibble Hill! The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. The neighbors have a dog in their fenced yard but they're usually good about bringing him in if someone is in the sniff spot. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. If you sit at the top and throw balls down the hill your dogs will get very tired! There is a picnic table, a swing, a table and chairs, a fire pit chairs, a splashing trough, a dog toy box, and a hose. You can pull right in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. This will also ensure your dogs don't escape from the sniff spot when you open the car doors. There is a large horse water trough, feel free to dump it and refill it if you need to (and if you're strong enough!) Please have fun with the dog toys - if your dog tears one up just toss out the stuffing or pieces. That's just what dogs do!

We are back in action after the flood and the Swannanoa Valley where we are located is as beautiful as ever. I'm happy for our four legged friends to enjoy again our large, flat grassy fenced in area for unleashed dogs on a 20 acre farm and wedding venue (Hidden River Events) next to the Swannanoa River. Parking is just outside the fence on the grass. There is a large deck with seating for relaxing while your pup(s) play. If it has rained within 24-48 hours of your visit, the spot may be muddy (even though it is a grass pasture) so it is good to bring towels for your pup. The fenced area has no trees so, there is an umbrella provided. If you use it, make sure to close it before you depart. This is a large farm and the distance from the sniff spot to the river is a good ways. You are welcome to walk your dog on a leash to the river if you don't see any other dogs on the property or an event going on. In 2025, we are not having many, if any, weddings, so you should be good to enjoy the river. If you have questions about where to walk to go to the river or if it's ok to enjoy more than the sniffspot itself, please text me at 828-458-5740. Horses and goats reside in their own fully contained pastures on the property away from the Sniff Spot. There is a water bucket on site to refill a water bowl if the bowl is empty when you arrive. Feel free to leash your dog and take him/her down to the river to play while you are on your visit.

Remember to close the gate behind you before allowing your dogs to roam freely—no leashes are needed within the secured gated yard and pool area. The pool is easily accessed by a paved path to the pool and upper deck. Enclosed by a 6-foot wooden privacy fence, our yard ensures the safety of your pets. Enjoy the rolling hill and a pet-friendly saltwater pool, surrounded by grounds featuring an undeveloped forest. There are no HOA rules or sanctions for enthusiastic barking, allowing your dogs to truly be themselves—bark, swim, romp, and live their best lives. We've opened our yard to your family to create a joyful and memorable experience. Please brush your dogs before arrival. We have had pool pump and filter issues from excess hair 🤔😀. Directly outside of the fence is a table and some chairs. The table should stay in place, but chairs are welcome to be moved so long as they are put back. Our Sniffspot is fully enclosed with no-climb, 4ft goat fencing and includes walking paths and a small creek for your pups to play in. Easy access from the main road with a small graveled parking space right in front of the Sniffspot entrance. As most properties in Mars Hill, the acreage is located on a hillside. Your dog can play near the creek at the bottom of the slope which is more flat and shaded or take a short hike along the path to the top and enjoy amazing mountain views while your pup plays in the pasture! We do have chickens, goats, sheep and pigs that remain in their separate fenced in pasture, but occasionally the chickens may roam in the parking area, so please be aware.
