The space was a bit smaller than I expected but it was securely fenced and reasonably clean.

Really cool spot! This was our first time here. Grace is super sweet and greeted us on our arrival. After you pull into the driveway, parking is straight ahead behind a small shed/barn and clearly marked with a Sniffspot sign. You will walk through a gate to a small pasture...there are some goats and a horse but they are totally secured behind fencing and my Cooper barely glanced at them. The Sniffspot starts at the creek crossing and it's fully fenced! Really nice big area of grass and hilly terrain, we really loved it. Very peaceful and lots of trees. There is an outhouse in the family campground when you first enter the Sniffspot so that is really nice for people like myself who drive from over an hour away. We felt completely relaxed and happy and really enjoyed walking through the woodsy setting. We will definitely be back. Thanks Grace!!

OMG! my german shepherd, Maverick enjoyed the place so much! it was worth the drive from Des Moines. I should have booked 2 hours as 1 hour went by too quickly, not enough time to leisurely check out the rest of the lovely ‘mini forest’. Next time I will pack a nice lunch with me as the picnic area looks very inviting. The gracious host, Grace said that her siblings & their families would camp here almost every year in the past. I enjoyed the hike, i needed it. i loved the sounds of the creek, the birds, the trees & the calmness, peaceful, serene feeling up the hill. I also enjoyed sitting on the porch on one of the tiny cabins, while Mavey sniffs around and sat on my feet later on to rest. I will definitely come back, don’t know when yet, but i will.

Dog and Human both loved it here! We booked two hours, during which time Dog did some happy zoomies, chased sticks, and climbed partway up a tree in a vain attempt to catch some critter in the branches. Human was just along for the ride and to serve as the stick-thrower. We made sure to save some time for playing in the creek at the end of our hike. Grace, the host, couldn't have been nicer. It's a great spot!

Wonderful place to let dogs be dogs! Lots of great smells and places to explore. Everyone enjoyed cooling off in the creek, after a good run. Can't wait to visit again!

What an amazing Sniffspot! Lots and lots of free space for the pups to sniff and play. Property is so nicely maintained and bonus that it is all fenced in. Host was amazing and super nice. We will definitely be back. They do have goats but our pups could care less ( we however loved them!) Nice private retreat for the doggies. Thanks for having us!

Grace was very welcoming and provided water for us and our dog. The property is fenced and has a lovely creek and trees. Wonderful to have my dog run free on her 9 acres.

Grace has sculptured a beautiful sniffspot on her land. It's like having a private camp with trails, clearings, large enough for my 2 dobermans to romp, chase, and wrestle, then run on the wide groomed trails. The trails were hilly so I got some exercise. And the sniffspot was fenced: what a bonus. The entry before crossing the water borders some goats, horses, etc. Eventhough this is enclosed and part of the sniffspot, if you have a dog that doesn't have a great recall off fenced farm animals, you will want to keep that leash on until you get on the trails on the other side of the river. We had a great time exploring, hiking, and playing hide and seek. Grace was awesome and we look forward to a return. Wear your hiking boots.

This was my first SniffSpot and it exceeded my expectations! It's rare to find a spot available that is fenced in. I was able to let my dog run freely without concern. He loved the stream running through it and I enjoyed the mini trails throughout. It is very clean and the host was exceptionally nice. My dog has some fear aggression with new people and she handled it great! We will 1000% be coming back and we're already planning our next stay while there. An hour is plenty of time to go through it all, but I would book two next time.

This was an amazing first experience with sniff spot. I don’t trust my dogs off leash with other dogs around, so a private spot was perfect. It felt like we were out in the forest for our own private hike, which we were! The dogs and I had a blast. The host was friendly and gave us privacy. I’ll be back ASAP!

Beautiful property with lots of variety to explore. Great socialization for the pup to see goats and a horse. My kids loved it too! Grace was also very responsive when we had a short notice change.

Great spot! I wish I booked two hours.  Very friendly and helpful host. Fence has some spots that smaller dogs or adamant on escaping dogs could fit through. I will be returning here again and again. 

My dogs absolutely loved this space. We had such a great time here and will definitely be back! It was quiet and peaceful but not too far from the city. 

Both of our boys had an absolute blast!! Our great Dane is hard to take to a regular dog park (due to his intimidating size) and giving him open room to run with his (smaller) brother was the absolute best day ever! :) Our host was extremely gracious when we got lost getting to their location as well! Bring hiking shoes as the people got quite a work out as well as the dogs!!!! Absolutely beautiful and the small creek was the favorite spot for the furballs. Will happily return soon.

My pups had a great time exploring! Great space and we will definitely be back! Host was very responsive and goats/horse were contained in a separate area. For those with reactive dogs, you do need to walk past the animals, but once over the bridge, pups were free to explore.  No human or dog interaction during our visit.  If you have a small escape artist, you might need to keep an eye out.  Overall, awesome spot!  Loved the mini forest!

The dogs had an absolutely fantastic time. They loved all the woods, hills, trails and of course the creek.  Thank you for joining Sniffspot and opening your property to our 4 legged family members.
