They will be out and new pictures will be loaded by April 1, 2023. I have a fully fenced (dug chain link and chicken wire with gate blockers) .5 of an acre in beautiful Courtenay BC. We are right across from Nymph Falls and back onto a woodlot as well. The person is welcome to use the four acres not fully fenced right next to the fenced area if they wish as well. There will be no other people or dogs in that area. Thanks!

We use no pesticides, sprays or fertilizers as our lawn is wild and bee and butterfly friendly. Bunnies, raccoons and local kitties (sometimes bears and cougars) roam at night so there will be lots to smell! Large trees for shade and sniffing around in, rugged romping areas, fresh filtered drinking water, small toys (ball, frisbee etc.), digging area, clean up bags and waste basket, doggy rinse area, and of course all natural treats! We often have eagles flying overhead with song birds and even blue herons. There is seating in the shade or sun for humans and private gated entrance at the side of the house with parking. We loved our time and I left with a tired border collie! We did hear plenty of animal noises so be aware if your dog is extra sensitive or reactive but nothing not mentioned in the listing. Huge space and we used both the front and back. Lots of smells to keep my pooch busy too. Water, supplies, and garbage all available!

My dog really enjoyed this spot. Lots of room to play and get in some running. As mentioned, the yard is partially fenced so just make sure your dog has good recall and I think you’ll have a great time. Would definitely recommend and will visit again!

Love the place. It was very thoughtful by the host to put the fire pit on, blankets and towels were available as well. A lot of space, clean and well maintained. Also it was a lot of guidance how to get to the place that it made very easy to find the place. Very thoughtful host. Will be coming back

This was our first time at CJ's. Great large space for our dog to run and play. We nervous at first as it is not fully fenced but our dog was on his best behavior and he stayed in the play area. Will return.

Very nice area, nice and big so even though part was unfenced they had tons of room to play without worrying about them getting out. It was feeding time for the geese next door while we were there and my dogs found that VERY interesting to watch.

LOVED IT! This Sniffspot is the perfect space to have a private dog park and our boys absolutely loved being able to run around the huge yard. Great spot with large open area (not completely fenced) that is very private and quiet with some trees and bushes that make it more interesting. There are some neighbors with chickens and other birds that aren’t super visible but can hear. It was a great opportunity for some training.

CJ's place is great! There was plenty of room for a mini Aussie and a puppy Aussie to run to their heart's desire. The birds next door made for a great distraction for training. I will definitely book here again!

Easy to locate. Google maps directions are accurate. Easy parking area to get in and out of. Wide open grassy space, surrounded by trees. Good for dogs of all energy levels. We booked for 1 hour, and my dog spent half of that laying in the grass. Bring a blanket and some snacks and enjoy a family picnic. Chairs were available by the fire pit. Front lawn unfenced, back yard fenced (low fence in spots). Recommend a leash or a long line of some sort if your dog is an escape artist, has bird drive, poor recall, or for the unexpected. Good Sniffspot for most dogs. Might not be the best choice for noise sensitive dogs as the neighbors geese were pretty loud. Must have been bath time for them because they were squawking up a storm. The neighbor's dog was also barking so take that into consideration if your dog is reactive to that sort of noise. Overall, I would return for an easy close-by Sniffspot in a pinch. Thank you to the host(s) for offering your land up to dogs and dog owners. We appreciate people like you!

This Sniffspot was exactly as described: a big, grassy field ringed with trees (and one big cedar in the middle). Our dog had a blast running up and down the field! The host provided bags, a garbage, and a hose right by the parking area. We heard the neighbor's birds and dog, and sounds of kids playing, but they weren't very close.

My foster dog, Inka and I + a friend, enjoyed our time here. It was nicely maintained and quiet. It was fun to listen to the rooster. Check water bowl for bees. At least 3 were doing the back stroke! 😂It was four paws up in our opinion. Thank you CJ for your quiet hospitality.

Wow! This arena is perfect for training. I am training my heeler in agility and this spot is what I’ve been looking for. It’s very large flat and has easy access. No distractions. Road noise is minimal. High fence keeps her attention focused. The extra agility equipment is a big help 5 stars!
