The space is great. Dog toys are included, along with poop scoop bags. There is an open space, as well as covered area if it's sprinkling. My two dogs explored and chased balls/frisbees. We would have stayed longer, but it was raining pretty darn hard. We'll be back when the weather changes for the better!

Beautiful spot, plenty of area for dogs to run around, and very secure. Unfortunately my dog (border collie mix, so this was not surprising but I wanted to give her a chance) had a hard time with the chickens. The chickens however were very calm toward her and just went in the back of their coop house when she came over to investigate. Lovely area and would definitely recommend!

This place was great! Large, very securely fenced, mostly shaded, easy to find. Owners provided dog toys and water. There are chickens within the enclosure, very secure. Rather than running around, our dogs barked at the chickens the whole time. Chickens weren't phased, seemed to like teasing the pups! We will be back!

First time using Sniffspot and this was our first Sniffspot. We loved it and most importantly our dogs did as well. Plenty of space and it’s all fenced in. We had a very easy time finding the place. Would definitely come back :)

Good spot for frisbee. Great for little dogs, not too big, not too small. My cattle dogs had a good time. My Jrt as always cared only about the frisbee, plenty room to send him for frisbee, full out catches. Dogs were surprised by chickens but ignored them after the initial woofs. There is shade when you should need it, and a clear space for play. I brought my own water for pups. Poop bags are provided which saved me from going back to car because I left mine inside. Very nice visit pups are tired and happy.

Great spot! Our one dog loved sniffing around and the other was able to get some good ball time in. There was toys, water, and a chair to sit in. We would definitely come back!

The sniffspot was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. There is coop in the sniffspot and my dog is very overstimulated around chickens so we couldn't stay for more than 5 minutes. The host was very accommodating and refunded us the money. I would highly recommend this sniffspot to people who have dogs that are well socialized around chicken.

Awesome spot - easy to find! Super responsive host. Perfect slight grade for chasing balls for our Shepard and incredibly secure fencing - our 15 lb escape artist terrier spent the entire hour trying to get out and couldn’t find a spot! Highly recommend!

Great spot and beautiful location! Fully fenced, well maintained, super easy in and out and well marked. Private and quiet and peaceful. Great for multiple dogs to run and romp and chase or for just one kinda lazy golden retriever to enjoy all the new smells :) we will be back!

High Rock Meadow is the PERFECT spot for hosting a doggy birthday party! We celebrated my foster’s 2nd birthday with friends today, and I highly recommend the party package! Are small dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by park users so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars.

How can I find small dog parks in Kelowna?

How do I know if a small dog park works for my dog?

Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your furry friends. If your dog doesn't respond to owner commands, you can visit one of our enclosed dog park areas. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our small dog park sites where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can see any park amenities provided, including a park bench, water for dogs or water features such as kiddie pool or water hose. If your dog loves water, you can go to a park with water features, but if they don't love water, you can avoid them. We also recommend reading reviews to check for park maintenance issues and reaching out to the host with any questions. And lastly, of course, check park hours. Many of our parks are open from dawn until dusk.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot park?

We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that owners sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. We also require that pet owners follow safety protocols around water features.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot park at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
