55Jayeeta was gracious, warm, and thoughtful, and provided all the info I needed to fully enjoy our visit. Her space provided Donny with plenty of new smells and sounds that fascinated him for the hour we were there. We had such a nice time experiencing it all, I didn't even think of taking out my phone. 55This place has so much potential, I am pumped they joined Sniffspot.
After you drive up the hill, the parking and the walk to the property down the way is flat. The door is super easy to open, and the driveway is a good flat area to get your bearings.
I grabbed my GPS unit for my wanderer just in case; this place is huge! The hillsides are a bit restrictive for humans, but the dogs loved frolicking around. There's a lot of shrubbery on one hillside, and you won't be able to see your dog unless you go down with them. I'd let my guys go down for about 30 seconds then call them back up.
Make sure to bring your bug spray for yourself and give you dog their flea and tick as there is tall grass and surrounded forest area. There are some foxtails which I'm sure will be trimmed as they get into the swing of things.
People with balance issues need to be aware of the brick walkways, they can be a little slippery from the growth on it. I can see pathways in the hill that look like they will be mowed, and I'm excited to watch this place turn into the doggie heaven it looks to be!
Plenty of space to frolic, super secluded and quiet, and there's places for us humans to sit.Steph H.

55Beautiful, wild yard! The terrain is definitely very steep and precarious in places. I couldn't see it with my own eyes, but our gracious host assured me that the property is fully fenced-in all the way to the bottom of the steep hills. My girl does not recall well, so I opted to leave her leash on to keep her out of the odd poison oak sprout and away from any lurking danger noodles. She had an amazing immersive experience, but I knew I wouldn't be able to effectively follow her due to the terrain if she wandered off. Next time, we'll bring the long leash!Allison S.

55Fun spot! The owners were very accommodating. They were visible from the spot, so it might be a problem if your dogs are reactive. Lots of steep areas, great views. Gaby S.

55My young athletic dogs had a blast exploring the steep areas! Would recommend having your dogs with good recall here since there is a lot to explore for them. Trails still being worked on so difficult for people to access but the dogs had no problem.
Host was kind and provided clear instructions on how to get to the spot. Rachel C.

55Love this spot. The size of the play area is nice and big, perfect to allow my big German Shepherd to run and stretch her legs. We brought balls, but there were many leftover balls and other toys there too. The turf was nice and soft and our Elli was very curious about the material (I think it was her first time on artificial grass). The turf appears to drain really well too, so I think we will be back when it rains to try it out. Michael C.

55My border collie loved the open turf space to play! Great place to have your big dog run loose due to the enclosed yard and high fencing. There were a few toys left behind (herding balls, tennis balls) for him to play with and an empty water bowl when we visited. There was a really loud work site working right behind the turf when we went around 930-1030, just incase your dog is sensitive to loud noises! Overall, no complaints, definitely coming back! 55We’ve been coming here at least once a week for almost a year. Sometimes it’s five times in one week. My dogs absolutely love it. Fully fenced and secure. It’s a pretty large area with turf. The parking lot is small, which is fine, just FYI if you have a big truck. This place saved my reactive dog. It gave us a safe place to train and also to just to play/have fun. Steve is awesome! Highly recommend.Erin B.

FAQ about our Cupertino dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 95% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Cupertino area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 115 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 15 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
