The trail is calm and well maintained, with lots of signs to guide you. 55Great space in the woods. Clean and well kept. This is especially a good spot for dogs who like to adventure off trail. There are a bunch of trails through the woods but you get a lot more use of the space if they head off trail. We even saw a little fawn!! So cute. Rachel G.

A solid recall for your dog is an absolute must here…both small and large dogs can easily slip under or step over the lowest board of the horse fence that runs the perimeter of the enclosure. The neighbour’s horses just across the road are friendly and curious, and they came right to their fence to check us out each time we passed by, so this may be a consideration if your dog is timid or boisterous around large animals. There is also a fairly busy road running along the fence at the far end of the property. As to be expected (considering the area doubles as a horse paddock) the odd “road apple”could be found on the ground so a “leave it” command couldn’t hurt if your dog is a roller or a snacker! If you’re confident in your dog’s listening skills, you will be treated to a huge grassy field to play in surrounded by stunning, peaceful scenery. If you can time a booking properly, very easy accesses to the 401 would also make this a dynamite spot for travellers who want a place to let kids and dogs burn off some steam during a road trip. It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
