Welcome to "The Pipeline", a field, bush and forested area with a stream, pond and trails that dogs are going to love exploring. No neighbours in any direction to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive, as it is a hay field, with a trail cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We have marked the trails with orange tape so that you can follow along, or just freestyle it and go wherever the nose leads. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent. There may be some burrs in the bushes, so have to watch for that.

This farm is absolutely beautiful and comes with a charming barn. There’s plenty of open space for dogs to run freely and enjoy themselves. However, one downside is that the fence isn’t low enough to prevent my dog from sneaking out. If you have a small or medium-sized dog that’s an escape artist, this spot might not be the best fit. I’d suggest adding some wired mesh around the fence to prevent smaller dogs from escaping. Other than that, it’s a top-notch spot and a great place to visit!

This property is rated #1 &, after having taken our 4 Westies there, I can understand why. The property is easy to access & is very large. But, aside from enough room to run to their heart's content, it has numerous spots for your pet(s) to play. The fence is nice & high, so you & your pet(s) privacy is not an issue. Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
