55My dogs had a great time running and exploring the huge field! There was some chickens next door that we said hi to a few times and practiced our leave it’s with. The field was mowed and I only saw a few foxtails. We really enjoyed our visit, thanks a lot! Aryn H.

55This is a great, country setting to relax with your pups! My dogs had a great time exploring this big field and playing with the toys they provided. The water bowls and water hose were a nice amenity as well as the table & chairs in the shade. Will be great in the summer with all the trees. My only comment would be to know there are quite a few holes all throughout the field. One of my dogs went to fetch and twisted into one & was limping a tad but recovered quickly. Just something to be aware of if ball throwing is your game :)Ashleigh D.

This is a great, country setting to relax with your pups! My dogs had a great time exploring this big field and playing with the toys they provided. 55Great directions, easy to find. The Sniffspot was clean and all fences were sound. No concerns about the dogs getting out. Toys, fresh water in bowls, as well as bags to clean up after the furkids were available. The owner came out to say hello and checked to make sure everything was okay. Will be back!kristina K.

55Very large space. My dog had a blast chasing balls and a frisbee they provided. Unfortunately the gate wheel kept sliding the gate open enough for my escape artist to finally make an escape. She's about 35 pounds and was able to slip through the crack. I was able to lure her back with some chicken treats. I contacted the host about this and she responded promptly with instructions on how to secure the gate better with a chain that was on the fence and that fixed the problem. She also said she would look at the gate and improve it going forward. Generally a great stay! Rebecca M.

Very large space. My dog had a blast chasing balls and a frisbee they provided. Unfortunately the gate wheel kept sliding the gate open enough for my escape artist to finally make an escape. She's about 35 pounds and was able to slip through the crack. I was able to lure her back with some chicken treats. I contacted the host about this and she responded promptly with instructions on how to secure the gate better with a chain that was on the fence and that fixed the problem. 55Great spot. My dog sniffed the entire time. I was so happy there's a place my fearful dog could decompress without being on leash. It's a nice large area that's good for recall practice at a distance. I wish I lived closer!Danna B.

FAQ about our El Sobrante dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
