Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. Note: Current conditions are dry and the spot is 90% covered with medium bark to keep down the late season weeds. Please come prepared for these conditions. Note: On weekends during our olive harvest season (late October to early December) there will be workers in the orchard visible from the spot from time to time, quite a way away. Also, there may be cars parked near the spot parking area but these are our workers. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Time for rain boots! Stream goes through the middle of the spot and it gets muddy so wear your rain boots! Wide open pasture, fully fenced in. There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in. Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! A truly beautiful spot! just the right size to keep an eye on your dogs while they run themselves tired. It was a half acre sandy soil riding arena now converted. We’ve planted 3 weeping willow trees and they will grow quickly to provide even more shade to the grassy area. But rest assured, there is tons of shade and trees all about the doggie park and the rest of the property and along with all the trees comes the birds, so constant singing and tweeting…. It’s quite serene. 2/3 (the center of the park) is irrigated grass… we have a large scratching post and sprinklers And or a pool available for hot days. See extras some days you might luck out because if someone else pays to fill the pool, we won’t immediately drain it for a couple days unless someone else purchases the freshwater. So you may have a slightly used pool to use at no charge.. And if you do pay the $11 to fill it fresh.. you feel good that maybe someone else and there doggies will get to enjoy it beyond your use. —- A paw it forward gesture We have a dig site now, featuring both fresh sand and separately a clean dirt mound. We find half of the dogs prefer the sand and the other half prefer the fresh dirt mound. We also have a dry rock River bed featuring a few scarlet sage plants (non toxic aspca) and many of the dogs like to sniff around there and walk over the smooth rocks. We use the perimeter of the park like a walking track to get in our steps, you are welcome to do the same. There are several seating options, very comfortable chairs spaced in a couple areas or even a couple pool style recliners. We have some things that you may want or need to use from time to time such as insect repellent, sunscreen spray, first aid kit, etc There are 2 indestructible tables in the area if you need a place to set your coffee or would like to get some work done We have some Wi-Fi service available via Starlink and seem to maintain speeds around 15-25mbps, which is not so bad for our rural setting. We are actually just a very short distance from Ripon, Manteca and Tracy (off Kasson Rd and Airport) about 7 or 8 minutes into the country from the Bass Pro Shop in Manteca. only about 20 minutes from Modesto via Ripon and Ripon Road / Jack Tone We will continuously improve the park and maintain and upgrade as use allows. *** Our most recent additions include a restroom within the park perimeter and we now offer self-service snacks and drinks via Venmo, PayPal or Cash. 100% of the snack purchase Donations go directly to the PAW it Forward Sanctuary, NON Profit 501c3 Rescue. This is a really lovely spot, with the wonderful smell of the redwoods that fill the property. I enjoyed it as much as my dog did. There was plenty of shade everywhere to keep us both cool on this warm day. There is plenty of room for your pup to run, and a good place for fetch between the pond and the white rail fence. The entry to the pond is a concrete ramp, which my dog thoroughly enjoyed. She stuck to the ramp and didn’t swim out into the pond, but had lots of fun splashing around and didn’t get too muddy.

This place is BEAUTIFUL!! If you’re looking for a place to escape the heat and enjoy a mini trail with your pup, this is it. My dog had sooo much fun, and it’s very easy to walk up onto the property. Owner provides instructions beforehand too! They had towels, toys, floaties for your dog to wear if they go in the water (a lot of sizes to choose from) and fish food to feed the fish. Open fencing near the front but it’s on a dead end neighborhood and pretty secluded so we took our long lead in case (and entering and exiting off property) but he roamed the rest of the time. They don’t have tennis balls I don’t think so if your dog loves tennis balls, make sure to bring one! We brought our dog’s favorite frisbee, but he kept chucking it and losing it in the water 🤣 Such an awesome time and am definitely gonna be coming ALL the time!!

This property is fabulous! Seriously a great spot to hang out with your pups. There are lovely shaded spots for a picnic while the dogs romp and a sidewalk around the pond for everyone to enjoy. Funny story… Our 10yo dog invited her only dog friend for a fun birthday play date… unfortunately the friend was so excited that she immediately shattered a toe when jumping out of the car to romp. So we ended up having a solo play date while the friend went to a great ER-vet nearby. In case anyone needs an emergency vet nearby, Vista Veterinary Specialists were great!

Great space for pups to run around. Mine doesn’t run far (or even at all) but he liked to explore. It isn’t gated off all the way which was listed so just be aware if you have runners. We were working on recall and it was a perfect place with some distractions but not overstimulating.

55OMG this place is an absolute gem! I traveled a bit far during an out of town adventure to come here, and I’m so glad I did! First, the property is gorgeous! There are tall trees which provide shade, and lots of seating areas scattered throughout. The pond is the most beautiful green/blue color and is a stunning backdrop for photos. I chose to rent a paddleboat and took it out with my dog. I definitely recommend bringing sandals or water shoes if you do that option. My LOVED the water. She played in it the entire time. It’s great because there’s a kayak launching area, which basically gives the dogs a beach-like access access to the pond. So if your dog is hesitant and doesn’t want to just “jump in”; they can go in slowly and/or just wade in the shallow kayak launching area. You can also walk around the pond for some exercise. There’s a large grassy area if your dog likes to roll around or play fetch. This place has it all! I would recommend you bring some toys because I think I only saw a tug rope, but I didn’t look that hard. Also the owner was very commutative and answered a bunch of my questions ahead of time via the app. I cant wait to plan my next visit and come again soon! 🐾🐕💦🤍Sarah V.

I chose to rent a paddleboat and took it out with my dog. I definitely recommend bringing sandals or water shoes if you do that option. My LOVED the water. She played in it the entire time. It’s great because there’s a kayak launching area, which basically gives the dogs a beach-like access access to the pond. So if your dog is hesitant and doesn’t want to just “jump in”; they can go in slowly and/or just wade in the shallow kayak launching area. You can also walk around the pond for some exercise. There’s a large grassy area if your dog likes to roll around or play fetch. This place has it all! I would recommend you bring some toys because I think I only saw a tug rope, but I didn’t look that hard. Also the owner was very commutative and answered a bunch of my questions ahead of time via the app. I cant wait to plan my next visit and come again soon! 🐾🐕💦🤍

We don't live in Elk Grove but come here often for dog sporting events and we like to visit this sniffapot to let them run free. THis place is a doggie paradise! It's our second time and the pups had so much fun exploring all the fun sniffs. Not to mention swimming in the awesome pond. My pups say 10/10!!

Melissa is an awesome host and her place is a gem! Our pups had fun running around and swimming in the pond. They’re young pups so learning to stay within bounds is challenging. Overall it was still a great place to hang out on a hot summer day.

What an amazing place! Lots of great places to sniff, run around and play! One of our dogs is reactive and this was such a great place for her to explore, run, and work on recall (we kept her on a long lead since the property is not fully enclosed, but that didn't slow her down and we had a good time). We heard some dogs barking off in the distance for a brief minute, otherwise it was private and quiet. Even had some red-winged blackbirds hanging out in the trees around the pond singing. Highly recommended - easy to find, clean, lots of shade, and overall just a really cool Sniffspot.

Our dog had the best time here! The spot was easy to access, and Melissa had chairs with an umbrella at the water’s edge to keep the humans cool, water and towels available for the dogs, and lots of open space for chasing balls and running. I’m sure my dog would love to be a repeat customer!

My pooches had a fantastic time. The setting with the pond ant its surrounding vegetation, the spacious areas, and the various paths make for a natural and beautiful setting. Besides their swimming/fetching in the pond, the large spacious grassy areas for them to run and fetch was perfect for my dogs to cut loose, get their exercise, and just be dogs. There was plenty of sniffing, too, which is one of their specialties. They loved retrieving their ball and squeaky toy in the pond so much that when I was ready to leave, I walked back to the car and looked back and there they were, still standing near the pond as if to say, do we have to leave. I will definitely return with my two Golden Retrievers; it was well worth the 42 mile drive.

This was our second time visiting this lovely spot. It’s so nice to get out of the city and play with my dog in the peace and quiet of the country. There’s plenty of room for a game of fetch, with breaks for my dog to cool off in the pond. The many trees provide plenty of shade, too. We’re low maintenance and haven’t used the paddleboats, but that’s a really nice amenity for those interested.

The spot was great. My dog and his friends had a great time. Plenty of space to run around. Enough shade. The pond had green algae, but it didn’t stop the dogs from enjoying it. Melissa was quick to respond to my questions before the visit. I will use this spot again.
