We have a beautiful secluded property on the Sespe Creek in Fillmore. We have acres of orange trees and two fully fenced areas. One is a fenced 100 x 200' sand arena with access to water and shade. In this arena there may be a small amount of sheep droppings if we have been training the dogs for sheep herding. There is a second arena that is 80 x 120' with agility equipment and the sheep don't go in that area. Dogs can play off leash and stretch their legs in either area. Please do not move the agility equipment around. You are also welcome to make your way down to the creek and let your pup swim and play. Outside of the fenced arena you are welcome to wander in our orange orchard at the bottom 1/2 of our property but please don't approach any residences or allow your dog to bother the livestock. There are sheep in a fenced area and Tank, our livestock guardian dog, lives with them. *Please note - The sand is pretty soft and dogs love to dig in it. They are welcome to dig but please fill in any holes they dig (it’s as easy as dragging the sand back into the hole with your foot) because they create a tripping hazard for other dogs and people.

Rent the fully-fenced JRB K-9 training yard / agility course. In addition, Jesse R. Booker, founder of JRB K-9, is available to offer free training tips during your dog’s play time, if interested. Relax under the shade of our mature oak tree as your dog runs, plays and explores. You’ll also have access to our Wi-Fi and chilled bottled water. We have dog toys and water bowls, all washed and sanitized between guests. You have free use of the agility course to help build your dog’s confidence or for additional mental stimulation. During the summer months, we provide a shallow pool for those water-loving pups. JRB K-9 is a behavioral dog training facility with overnight boarding, so there will be plenty of new smells to stimulate your dog. Dog’s on-site will neither be seen, nor interact with your dog. No training sessions will take place outdoors during your visit. Street parking is available on site and we ask that you pick up after your dog when finished – a trash can is provided. Enter through the front gate and please always make sure the gate is closed and secured after entering, and before your dog is off leash. Thank you!

Beautiful, large space. My dog enjoyed both the fenced spaces as well as exploring near the creek. The area is pretty private and away from big roads. I will say it was a little tricky to find at first since there’s arrows that point the the address but if you just follow the road straight down the Sniffspot sign, you will find the destination! I will definitely be booking here again!

My husband and I took our rescue Malinois here yesterday and our only regret is that we didn’t find this place sooner! Our dog is reactive, but we love doing outdoor activities with him, so this place was perfect! The host provided clear directions on how to get there and where to park, and everything was as described and shown in the photos. We had our dog try all of the agility equipment and we explored down by the creek. Our dog had an absolute blast and we definitely plan on returning in the near future. Would highly recommend this place if you’re interested in agility training for your dog or just spending time outdoors without worrying about other people and dogs!

I really liked this location , it was easy to get to and the directions on line were really well detailed. The arena s were clean and there was water provided. We knew the trail to the creek was not maintained before we got there but it s so close I wish we had access. Other than that we will come back again. We got there late for our appointment but tried to make sure we had the dogs in the car by the time of the next session so as not to cause issues. We will be on time next time !!

The property was easy to locate with good signs. The agility area is impressive, and there is an additional open fenced space specifically for dogs to run freely without agility equipment. Had a great time privately training my dog and working on contacts. New parking farther from the agility arena so just a tip bring some poop bags or you’ll have to walk way back to your car for some. Or the pooper scooper was near the open arena which was also a far walk.
