Definitely will be coming back to this spot! Perfect for my Ollie who has tons of energy, but a lot of fear around other dogs. It was nice to be able to let him roam free without the worry of other dogs. I did keep him on a long line only bc I didn’t want to carry it. We hiked 2 miles around the trails and then took a water break before practicing recall out in the open field. Also took some time to meet the horses and chickens from afar. The host directions were clear and she even followed up to see how our visit went. She leaves a huge bucket of water out for the doggos, Ollie wasn’t sure about drinking out of the bucket at first but then caught on! Great spot! Will be back as there are more trails we didn’t get to.

We had a great time at this Sniffspot. The host reached out to make sure we had the correct directions which made it easy to find. There was a well marked trail that our 3 dogs loved exploring. Looking forward to coming back and exploring additional trails.

A wonderful experience from beginning to end! Olivia was super understanding when we had to reschedule twice due to the weather. Great communication about directions & where to park. The property is so beautiful and well maintained, and they even provided plenty of water for our whole crew of dogs. Our pups loved it here!

Love visiting this perfect snip spot! Host is awesome. We appreciate that she leaves a bucket of water out and a garbage can. This property is amazingly huge and our Boyz run their hearts out. The trails are also marked to help with where you are.

The place was great. Lots of trails that were all well maintained. Some steeper hills so be prepared but nothing too crazy. Great escape from the city. Host was very easy to deal with.

We had the most wonderful time coming back to this lovely spot! The woods are just so fun to explore, the trail is well marked, and we appreciated the fresh water left out at the trailhead! We also played some fetch on our long line and watched the horses from afar. A wonderful visit with a wonderful host and property!

We had so much fun at this spot! I recommend driving an AWD vehicle to get up the gravel driveway to the spot. The trails were well maintained and the big field was a great spot to practice our recall.

We absolutely loved this sniff spot. Olivia was so accommodating and available as well, and when I had a question she was quick to respond with an answer. We need sniff spots like this for our high anxiety pup so he can have better experiences on walks during his behavioral trainings and we are so grateful to have found one like Olivia's trail!

Always a great time visiting this Sniffspot!! The host makes sure to update me each time on anything I should be aware of. Also the host has politely offered to let me make up time when I was running late, and is always considerate about things that can be heard or seen from the Sniffspot. Nothing has ever been a bother but the host always makes me feel like I’m a priority. I’ve not had a single issue, this is my dream Sniffspot ☺️

Olivia is a fantastic host! What a wonderful space they have!!!! We had fabulous time with our 2 dogs! The trails and paths are well cut out and marked, and the scenery is just beautiful. We will be making this a regular stop! If you are looking for a fun-filled relaxed time in the woods with your dog, do not hesitate to check these folks out. You won't regret it!!!

Great visit overall! We'll try to come back out again soon. Host's instructions very clear, and the signs helped guide our way into the site. Entry road (steep gravel drive) is a little tricky with the Prius (AWD recommended), but we made it up and down without issue. Orange hiking path through the woods was very clearly blazed (maybe about a mile-long or so?) we did a few loops before playing some fetch on top of the hill. Saw some horses on the drive in, but the animals are not super close so shouldn't be an issue if your pup is not a big fan of livestock. We heard quite a few shots on our hike, so may not be the best place for a doggo that's gunshy. Big bucket of water for pups by the car and a trash can so you don't need to pack out, much appreciated.

Trails are even better than ever- follow the orange blaze trails and enjoy!! Just a heads up that it’s pretty hilly in some spots but that makes for a really good workout for you and your dog!!

Great visit as always!! Our favorite spot, just book it, you’ll love it!! The owner is always so sweet and considerate to let me know about anything that could be going on at the spot, weather conditions, etc.. This time she left us a nice little surprise for being the first guests of 2025!!:) Will ALWAYS recommend. Found only 1 tick on top of my dogs fur after our 1.5 hr visit, that’s very minimal for what you can typically expect in the woods this time of year! He was also off leash and going through all the brush and tall grass, so I call that a win! Definitely worth checking out.

This was our first visit and we had an amazing time! Olivia was kind enough to let us start our adventure early ( since we arrived about 30 mins ahead of our scheduled time). She had a bucket of water out for my pups and showed us where to pick up the trail. The trail was well marked with orange blazes and we hiked all over the hillside/ woods. It had snowed here and my two pups were loving running through the mounds of snow and following deer tracks in the woods. Can't wait to go back for another adventure!

My dogs and I had a great time practicing a little training in the field and then going on a "sniffy walk" along the wooded trail. The host was great about messaging directions and making sure I knew where to go as a first time visitor. They also left a nice big bucket of water for the dogs (and a little gift!). The listing is very clear that there are chickens and horses on the property, which I appreciated so I was prepared for that. They are right along the driveway as you enter and within view of the field, but away from the wooded trail. We had a great experience here and hope to be back!

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
