I have a double lot in Minneapolis. The yard sits on the empty second lot. We are very close to the North Loop in a good neighborhood. Fully enclosed yard via wooden privacy fence. There is a chain link fence along the side facing the street. We are up on a hill from the street, which provides privacy from people walking by. Street parking is no problem on this block, but 14th street (the closest cross street) is always wide open. We use this yard to host entertainment events periodically during the summer so we have plenty of lawn chairs and a new fire pit that can be used. I’m new at this, so I’ll take any suggestions on how to improve the experience. Please notify me of any special requests upon registration, and I will do what I can to accommodate.

For the dogs who are fearful or reactive of humans: Our neighbors are occasionally outside but keep to themselves when guests are here. Our neighbors on the north side of us have two grade school aged kids who used to come up to the fence to talk and try to pet dog visitors without asking first. They haven’t done this in the last few months, but it is a possibility. We will stay inside the house while you are here or will use the front door if we need to come/go. It's a biggish yard with plenty of room for my 2 large dogs to chase each other and wrestle around. The privacy fence is at least 6 ft tall, the gate doesn't secure very well (i used some stones that appeared to be there for that purpose) and either of my 2 dogs could have pushed their way out if they were so inclined, but it's a quiet neighborhood (at least at 10am on a Monday) so they weren't interested in escape. You can watch trains go by (they weren't loud and the dogs didn't notice) if you like that.
