55My dog and her best friend had a fantastic time here - there were several large pastures for them to explore including the barn arena, a handy place to throw out poop bags, and a water trough for the pups (which they definitely needed after all their romping!). Everything is completely fenced in (and the smaller pastures are easy to close the gates if you want to practice training in a smaller area). There's a pony in one of the nearby pastures, but no way for the pups and pony to interact. I'd recommend wearing sturdy shoes as there are a few thistles in the pastures.Christine L.

55Super secure beautiful Sniffspot. Very easy to find with the directions given and our host met us as soon as we parked. Andrea is super welcoming and gave us a brief tour. There are 2 troughs full of water and a poop bucket near the entrance. The Sniffspot is a huge area broken up into 6 different fields. There is tall fencing around the entire Sniffspot and gates that can be left open or closed at the entrance to each field...so, if you prefer to limit your pup's play area, this is easily done. My boy, Cooper, is a velcro dog with good recall so I don't have any worry of him running off but, even so, we did a very thorough inspection of the fencing. The fencing is totally solid with absolutely no gaps or flaws...we felt completely safe and secure and enjoyed our entire visit without any worry whatsoever. The first field we came to is on the right with a huge arena building. Andrea warned us this was a more primitive area with a lot of weeds. We did spend some time here but there are quite a few blackberries so decided to move onto the other fields. This was not an issue at all....we had only reserved an hour but there is so much space to play here, an hour felt a bit rushed. Next time we will likely reserve 2 hours and bring a picnic...there are some beautiful trees for shade or shelter from the rain and it's a very relaxing setting. Cooper is not much for fetch or anything of that nature and prefers to explore...we had loads of fun just walking around investigating and enjoying the peace and quiet. If your dog likes to fetch or play frisbee, you guys will be in heaven here, it's a giant, safe Sniffspot and very secluded. We will definitely be back!Susan D.

55We had a wonderful visit to Dayspring farm! Andrea met us at the barn and showed us the property. Next to the barn are some miniature horses, which our dog enjoyed meeting through the fence. There are a series of different fields that are all connected to a central corridor. If you want to limit the size of area for your pup to explore, just close the gate behind you as you enter a pasture. There is also a covered, 1/2 walled arena where you and your pup can play out of the rain and are protected from the wind. Each of the fields also has nice paths mowed down in the grass to make walking through them easier. Our pup loved running ahead of us on the mowed sections and, of course, bounding through the taller grass to either side! When we arrived there was even a herd of deer in the back upper field! They saw our dog and quietly made their exit, meanwhile she had no idea they were there. I would recommend wearing boots or sturdy shoes for your adventure. The pastures are all very securely fenced and the fencing is of a tight-weave so our pup didn't have any thoughts of trying to slip out. I would definitely recommend this sniffspot and look forward to coming back soon!
One note: If you put the address into google maps, it tries to take you on a non-existent road. I recommend following Andrea's driving directions.Kelly N.

55A great value! Tons of open fields and small wooded areas for the dogs to frolic. Also a covered horse arena that's big enough on its own in case the weather turns. All fencing is solid so there's no chance of puppies escaping.Joe O.

55This was hands down one of our favorite sniff spots. I am always a little leery of fences when I try new places as one of my little guys (a doxie/chi dude) could be a serious escape artist if he tried, but I am happy to say this spot is securely fenced for dogs of all sizes. You have such a wonderful variety of choices of where you want to take your pup at this spot that we will have to go back as we didn't even get to them all today! The things I find most important in my spots are security for keeping my boys from getting out, cleanliness, and people/dogs close to the vicinity. This spot gets my full 5 star votes on all 3 :). And the hostess was great as well. There was some technical difficulty so the poor lady didn't even know we were coming, but still graciously gave us the lowdown of the sniff spot and let us sniff when we showed up unexpectedly. Love this place! Laura C.

55Wow!!! So much fun and so much space!! Andrea met with us briefly to show us the ropes and then we were on our way! The indoor arena area was fun for different surface ( thick soft dirt, almost like running through sand) we all had a ball and no doubt will go back. 55This was a great place to let my pups run and play. They were themselves out romping in the fields! I would caution if you have a dog that eats poop there is some horse and other critter poop in the fields. I think one of mine may have helped himself to some rabbit droppings. Still, we had a blast and will be back!Cindy L.

55Great spot. Lots of room to run free. Wear sturdy shoes as there are some hills and some areas of rougher ground. Beautiful on a sunny day.
A nice feature was the gates in between the fields to allow for you to stay in a smaller area should you choose to. A cute little pony was there, but behind a few fences and easily avoided if you need to.

55Absolutely PERFECT! As described, so beautiful and peaceful, completely beyond our expectations. We brought a HIGHLY reactive dog (people and other dogs) and the beautiful open areas (so many to use) gave him a place to unwind. The arena gave us the opportunity to let him off leash and play fetch and he LOVED it! Kim D.

55As always, a great time was had at Dayspring Farm. The fields, despite the wet weather, were not flooded however boots are recommended because of the wet grass. There was a lot of deer poop in the fields which my dogs enjoyed more than I would have liked; but that's nature. The fields were quiet, large, fenced, and heavenly. Thanks for opening up your property to us.Bonnie W.

55We had a blast at Dayspring with our 12 year old Boston Terrier, 3 year old Boxer and 5 month old baby. Coming from the city, it was amazing to have safe fenced in acreage for our dogs to enjoy running, chase balls and sniff! There were several different types of areas to explore, all fenced in ( flat, hill, trees and shade or sun. There was even access to clean water and a few water bowls. Our baby especially enjoyed saying hi to the pony on our way in. The host was also extremely nice, making sure we had everything we needed when we arrived. We plan to bring our dogs here as much as possible when the weather is good. Laura A.

55This was our first visit to Dayspring Farm and all I can say is WOW! There are fields and fields of grass for playing and running. Everything seemed securely fenced and there are different pastures so you can use a smaller space or just explore them all. There is also an indoor horse arena that will be fun to play in when the weather turns bad. Kai had a wonderful time playing fetch and exploring around. We didn't see or hear anyone the entire time. There are a few swampy spots which Kai had fun splashing in but you may want to bring a towel when the weather gets wetter. If your dog loves to run, this is the place for you! We look forward to return visits.June M.

55The host met me and provided very clear directions on the various fields that were allowed to be used. Since the property does have horses, there is one area that is off limits for dogs at the entrance, but is very well fenced and the horses are not at the fence line where you are allowed to roam with your dog. So if you have a dog that is not comfortable with horses, once you get past the entrance you will be fine. The host also asked that you keep your pet leashed as you walk by this area on your way to the fields. It's a very short and easy walk. The entire rented area is fenced and in fact there are really 3 very large pastures and each is fenced. You are free to use them all but if you had 2 or more dogs and wanted to be with them separately, you would have that option here. I was here for 2 hours and it was very peaceful. If there are neighbors they are nestled deep in the woods away from this property. I did not hear or see a single other person, hear another dog, or hear of see another car go by. There is an on-site handyman that lives on the property. His small accomodation is outside the fenced area you will use so there is no possibility this person could suddenly appear in your rented space. One of the pastures has a nice incline to it so if you are into exercise you will enjoy the walk. Or if you want to exercise your dog extra hard you can toss that ball up the hill for fetch. The owner mows the pastures and I was able to walk it without a problem. The mow was a long cut so expect to wear taller boots if you don't want to have wet pant leg bottoms. The moles were happy in some areas but any holes were filled. There are a few clumps of large tree that would allow for nice shade break if needed. The host provided a clean trough of water for my dog who thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a poop bucket on your way out to leave your dog's waste. This was a great property and I highly recommend it.Bonnie W.

55We loved this spot! It’s huge! With multiple fenced fields and gates you can close or keep open if you’d like. Smaller dogs can probably get through the gates if they wanted (it’s a standard cattle / horse gate). There are mini horses there but we’re separated from us and not a distraction at all. The fields were well kept and the owner even mowed a pathway for us to use. They also provided a water trough which Riley used as a personal soaking tub. Host was super nice and there is so much room to run!Erika S.

55This was one of the best sniff spots I've been to. The host was outside to greet us when we arrived and showed us the space. Parking is close to the fenced area so there is minimal distance to go leashed. You walk past a paddock that has a few horses and mini horses but the sniff spot doesn't share a fence with them. The host has a full tub of water and also a trash can to put poop bags. There are basically a series of pastures linked together that you are welcome to explore. Fencing was all 4 foot fencing and I didn't see any holes. There is a gate right at the entrance that has fairly widely spaced bars that a smaller dog could get through. Wear long pants and good shoes at the pastures are uneven and there were some sticker bushes. My guy sniffed his little hart out and is currently sleeping on my foot. Milo is not reactive but this space would be appropriate for a reactive dog. I didn't see any dogs even at a distance. The house doesn't border the sniff spot either which minimizes chance that you would see people. There is a small trailer up on one edge of the fence where the handyman lives but I didn't see him and it wouldn't be hard to maintain some distance. Overall great experience and I intend to come back.Faith E.
