Another memorable visit! Kathy's made the most wonderful and beautiful space available. As if 5 acres with a pond wasn't enough, she added another 5 acres of open space! My beagle and lab were in heaven. It's very clean, well kept, with benches spaced throughout, a picnic table, and a potty for the people. There are dog poop bag stations with bags for your convenience and to help maintain this gorgeous property for everyone. I love that she requires updated vaccine and flea/tick prevention. For me, it adds peace of mind I don't have at a regular dog park. When you rent the space, rest assured that you will be the only ones there, which makes it great for those with reactive dogs. Dogs with no sense of recall like my beagle are completely safe with the completely fenced-in area. I would give 10/10 ⭐️

Our terrier just loves the high grasses around the pond and the field. This Sniff Spot lets him be the terrier he was designed to be. He is so happy running that territory. Thank you so much.

I was last here two months ago, and it’s still such a gem! It’s set up so thoughtfully with very separate parking for the two spots on the property, and it feels very safe and private. We hiked around the perimeter, then I took advantage of the nice chairs in the shade to sit and rest while my dog sniffed around. Would highly recommend, and I’ll be back!

A gem! This spot was amazing. The property is breathtaking and well maintained. It offers waste bag stations, toys, sanitizer, and things you may need during your visit. There is plenty of space to play, relax, and have a good time. The host was very sweet. My pup had a blast. Plenty of space to run free. We will definitely be returning soon. The view of the pond against the autumn scenery/foliage is something you have to experience. This was by far one of the best properties we have visited!

My dog had the most AMAZING time here! It is well worth the drive from DC. It’s such a thoughtfully designed spot; Kathy is such a wonderful host, and she has designed everything to be really welcoming! It’s also absolutely gorgeous! We will definitely be back!!

Been here many times. My dog always has a blast and the owner puts a lot of care and thought into this sniffspot; balls/Frisbee to throw, acres to walk/run, poop bags, and even a clean portapotty for the humans.

First visit to the Pond and it was a lot of fun. New areas for them to explore, lots of room to run and patrol. One dog even swam across the pond. We booked the Lure course which was cool to try. Great signage, very clean Sniffspot. We will be back! Thanks!

Perfect place. Big clean pond, with occasional ducks landing on the water. It’s a perfect enrichment for my city pup to watch the duck! She had so much fun. Not to mention the sanitary station with pet wipes! So thoughtful! The host is so very nice, and I can tell she is very professional as a dog trainer just from how she handled my pup when she was too excited and pulling me, and when she saw the chickens and on the verge of a reactivity when I kinda got lost a bit and didn’t act up. It’s such an amazing experience

We’ve been coming to The Pond and Acres for couple years now, but never in winter until this year. The place is absolutely magical when covered in snow! My pack had a best time running, rolling and licking the snow- they were tired the rest of the day. It makes it worth for over an hour drive one way. Thank you !

Huge area, loved the lure course that we paid for, even my older dog ended up loving it and refused to be caught when it was time for us to leave. We will definitely be back soon and for sure in the spring and summer to take advantage of the big pond with beautiful access to water.
