🚗 LOCATED IN SYKESVILLE, MD (Carroll County) 🚨Updates🚨 🛑 We will be closing for a week or two in March for over seeding and general maintenance. Week(s) TBD but most likely the third and fourth week of March.🛑 📣 We have found a few pretty big holes in our recently. Please remember we do not allow digging. If you see your dog digging, please stop them. Thank you 📣l 💩 We’ve noticed an increase in the amount of guests not picking up their dog’s poop. As a reminder, we require all guests to clean up before they leave. If you don’t want to clean up, we offer an extra called “Poop Patrol”, you can add this on to your visit and we will clean up for you. If we continue to have issues with poop not getting cleaned up, we will need to increase the price of our spot to compensate us for the additional time we have to spend cleaning up between visits. We don’t want to have to do this, so please be respectful and clean up the 💩 📍I believe the neighbors behind us got a new dog and they like to bark. Our fences do not touch, there is probably 10 feet of distance between our fences so there is no worries about fighting through the fence, but you may hear barking sometimes. They will eventually bring the dog in when the barking becomes too much 📍We laid some hay in and around the play area to help with the mud and protect the grass. 📍 We replaced the blue picnic table that was under the canopy with a couch and chair. We still have the pink picnic table with the umbrella. 🐕🦮🐕‍🦺 Bring 3 or more dogs? Message us for a discount prior to booking (let us know how many dogs in your message). ** The pool is not available to guests at this time. ** 🎉 Events / parties welcome 🎉 Large open, fenced-in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car bed, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

Forget a dog towel or snacks? ...or even if you didn't, check out the $5 pet supplies bargain bin. The place accommodates people and pets with disabilities. With advance notice you can back your vehicle directly into the yard. About your host - I was an AirBnB Superhost in downtown Annapolis running a dog-friendly place. When I moved to Pasadena I wanted to continue the tradition, of welcoming both sides of the leash.

The yard extends from the house to the next street and is fully fenced. It is long enough that my throws don't reach the back fence. The yard also has a patio, deck platform, trampoline, bench swing, shed, chairs, a fire pit, and several trees shading the property. Sticks are plentiful and I've provided a bin with a variety of balls and toys. A bowl of water is provided and a hose spigot is just outside of the gate if needed. Upon request I can provide a dog wading pool, sprinkler, and/or a portable agility kit. Regarding accessibility, a wheelchair would be fine onto the patio by the house, but it would be difficult to traverse the rest of the yard.

I am a working horse farm and fields are anywhere from a smaller paddock to about 3 acres. Horses get moved around so location changes as to what is available. No climb 4'6" fencing, however there are spots a small dog can get under. Better situation for dogs that have a call back and are not gamey as I have many farm animals they could come in contact with if are not with owner. I have a toilet in the barn for use, plenty of electric outlets and water. Wash stall can also be used for hot water baths after visit. Dogs must be obedient to owners and non animal or human aggressive. You can also walk around the outside of the property on leash and go into Earleville state park land directly behind me.

This was our first visit here. Kathy met me when I pulled in. She walked us down the trail to the gate and gave a brief description of the property. Once inside my pooch Pepper and I spent a wonderous hour running, playing and decompressing. This place is a little slice of heaven on earth. Will be back.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Clean, spacious, well maintained, clear instruction, perfect gate system, I can go on and on. Perfect for my pup to roam around! The host is just, perfect. So very nice to my over excited puppy, and helped with guiding us when I have a sprained ankle and is a bit awkward.

We’ve been going to The Pond for couple of years and decided to check out The Acres, as it gets too cold for my golden that goes into to water regardless the temperature. What a beautiful spot! So many bushes and trees to sniff, there are couple big pipes like a big tunnel for pups to go through, pile of tree stumps to climb up and other things to keep dogs entertained. There is also a rocking swing for humans but it was too cold for us to use it. Oh and biggest upgrade- there is a port-a potty at the parking place. Such a thoughtful thing to add, especially for those that have a longer drive to get there. Now we have 2 absolutely favourite spots to return to!

My dogs had a great romp! We loved that there was room to run, but also a little wooded area and an area with some bushes. There’s a couple a dog bag stations, and benches for the you to relax while your dogs explore. We’ll be back!

Bert is loving the new dog bridge. His agility work paid off and he learned in one trial how to work the new bridge. It is a great addition. Incredible spot with so much space and things to sniff. There are some fun obstacles and features (bridge, tunnels, trees, etc.) that were nice added enrichment as we played around. The spot is very secure and safe, everything was clean and Kathy was so kind. Definitely check this spot out!

Best Sniffspot out there! Kathy offers an incredible fenced in area with lots of adventures and sniffs for your pups. Our 3 pups had the chance to run around 10 acres of land exploring tunnels, bridges, tree stairs, and much more. Kathy has also met us at the front to welcome us and went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. I would highly recommend to anyone!
