We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. Come down the first driveway. You will see a white address sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage (just not blocking garage door). Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. Hose is on if not freezing temps. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who like a good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. My dogs had an absolutely wonderful time sniffing and exploring today! Lovely property with plenty of shade, much thanks to the wonderful shade shelter and doggy pool. The trees provided lots of shade and kept the dogs cool as they explored and sniffed. Our lab attempted the agility course while our Great Pyrenees mix secured the perimeter of the fence. We had a terrific first visit here today. The trees provided lots of shade, which is great for hot summer days, and the dogs loved exploring the forested area. There’s a nice sizable flat area near the gate that was perfect for playing ball with a chuck-it too. Theresa’s directions were excellent, and there were clear signs to get us to the right place. We’ll definitely return!

Really nice spot! To me, a perfect sniffspot has lots of variety. Somewhere to play ball, room to walk around, shade, sunny spots, etc. This yard meets all that and more. There's a kiddie pool, agility equipment, and a covered picnic table with a box of supplies and toys. Pay attention to the instructions to access the spot because the GPS can tell you that you've arrived too soon.

This spot is beautiful! Our dog loved running through the field and sniffing through the forested area. If your dog is super reactive or doesn’t have great recall they will struggle with the dogs on the other side of the fence (mentioned in the description). Our dog got nose to nose through the fence with the other dog before we were able to call her off. But the owner called their dog inside shortly after and we were able to just stay away from that part of the area. There is so much else to do! The bottom of the Sniffspot near the entrance is quiet and peaceful, we had a great time.

Awesome sniffspot! Definitely one of the best ones I’ve been to, the fact that it’s pretty big but mostly shaded is the best. most sniff spots on the bigger side are just soo sunny but this one’s not and that was good on a hot day. It was 90° and my dog was wearing an ice vest and he was still able to play fetch for a little bit.

We will be back soon!! It is an awesome space for my 2 Retrievers to run, play, sniff till they were worn out!! The variety in the space is nice, ie trees, no trees, grass, dirt, foliage, shade, sunny spots. Very important to me…it is a clean environment for my boys to enjoy.
