Come down the first driveway. You will see a white address sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage (just not blocking garage door). Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. Hose is on if not freezing temps. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. Unfortunately we have found missed messes, so please monitor your doggos. if you forget poop bags, we have extra in the old milk box next to the porch steps -feel free to use any toys you find in the SS! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided* 1- the hose/hydrant near the gate. (Located to the left of the gate as you enter!) 2- green bowl at top of driveway *unless freezing weather Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. We appreciate your business and love your dogs, just encourage them to avoid the porch and gardens please. Bella and I had a lovely time playing at your Sniff Spot! While the neighbors Great Pyrenees came out barking they weren’t a bother to my dog! The property is beautiful and was a great opportunity to practice being off leash in a larger space. Also an excellent place to visit on hot days because there is so much shade! Bella loved running around the wooded area sniffing away. She even rescued a ball from the woods, lol! We will definitely be back!

This is a fantastic spot! It’s nice and quiet with lots of trees to sniff and open space to run/zoom. There are even a few jumps and weave polls to work some obedience and agility. The spot was very clean with a nice shaded picnic table area for the humans. We saw a couple dogs through the fence when we were at the very furthest point from the entrance, but nothing bothersome at all. This spot is a gem and we can’t wait to visit again!

We have been here twice now. Both times were mid-morning visits. There is a pond with a fountain nearby so you can hear the running water which is relaxing. You get a little of everything here. Forest (lots of shade), a nice grass run, dirt to dig, a kiddie pool to cool off in and all the basic perks as well: poo bags, hand sanitizer, water, toys and a shaded picnic table. I really like the convenience of being able to drive into the spot and let the dogs out of the car too. Additionally, Theresa is great. My 8 month old pup got herself into a little trouble during our first visit. I let Theresa know and she was super receptive and went out of her way to make sure the spot was puppy proof and safe for the next time. This spot is on our "favorites" list.

A great place to visit and with the drive from Vancouver! Large grassy field for fetch and the forested area was a great adventure. Lots of toys and great sticks for fetch. Picnic table (covered) so rain or shine this is a must visit. We will be back!

Such a cool spot, it’s our new favorite. 🐾 There is a ton of room to roam under the trees and lots of grassy areas too. The entire spot is so well fenced and the entire area was very well maintained. We loved sitting under the canopy to relax while our six dogs roamed. The spot is large but there really isn’t any areas where you won’t be able to see your pup, unless they are hiding behind a tree. The owner of the sniffspot was very accommodating and sweet, she offered an extra half an hour because the spot wasn’t booked for that time.

We had a terrific first visit here today. The trees provided lots of shade, which is great for hot summer days, and the dogs loved exploring the forested area. There’s a nice sizable flat area near the gate that was perfect for playing ball with a chuck-it too. Theresa’s directions were excellent, and there were clear signs to get us to the right place. Really nice spot! To me, a perfect sniffspot has lots of variety. Somewhere to play ball, room to walk around, shade, sunny spots, etc. This yard meets all that and more. There's a kiddie pool, agility equipment, and a covered picnic table with a box of supplies and toys. Pay attention to the instructions to access the spot because the GPS can tell you that you've arrived too soon.
