Such a unique opportunity to be able to roam and play on this beautiful and rugged property in the forest and foothills! Super easy to get to, but the driveway is a little secluded and easy to miss. The long winding driveway is also 50% ice packed right now. We will definitely be back when we have more beautiful days like today.

We had a great time; lots of space to explore and still plenty of snow for our snow loving pup. Good variety of terrain, secluded with lots of trees, and beautiful scenery. Thankful that the owner is sharing this amazing location!

Had a blast exploring the property and walking the driveway. It’s a bumpy switchback driveway up to the house, which was no problem for my Subaru but all wheel drive is def recommended. Carol was very informative and great with communicating. I parked by the house and explored the rugged hillsides with my dog. She loved zooming around in the patches of deep snow. The driveway was also a good work out to walk up! Beautiful property, will definitely be back.

What a wonderful spot!!! Absolutely beautiful with lots of space to roam, sniff, and be a dog! Carol is such a thoughtful, responsive, and accommodating host. It’s not easy to find mountain spots for my reactive pup to explore without the pressure of dogs and people. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome spot for my reactive dog! Wanted to get out of the denver heat and he was thrilled to roll around in some snow! Plenty of sticks to play fetch! Bring water and everything is great! We’ll be back❤️

Carol's spot is a great place to get away from the city and enjoy fresh mountain air in a wooded environment. The driveway up to the property is rough in spots as she mentions in her description, though really should be ok for almost any vehicle in dry conditions. Once you park and walk to the top of the hill there is ample area that is not so steep for dogs to run and sniff. The spot is not fenced so having a good "check-in" command to bring your dog back towards you is a good idea. Carol's spot is a place that I will visit again to simply relax and enjoy nature with my dogs. They loved the new smells!

This spot was truly magical. The ground was spongy with a thick layer of pine needles, quieting our footfall. Whenever we stopped moving, everything fell silent. I am working on off leash training with my puppy but finding off leash open space without a bunch of other dogs (who are not exactly helpful for training!) is not easy. This place is exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be coming back! This spot is obviously visited by lots of wildlife and has lots of wildlife scat. Either have a strong “leave it” or be comfortable with some poop eating. But what do you expect for wilderness?

This was a wonderful experience! So much space for our dog to roam and explore. She was absolutely exhausted by the end of the hour! Such a beautiful place. There is a highway at the back end of the property with a small barbed wire fence that a dog could get through, but we didn’t have any problems with that. Definitely worth the visit!

The neighbor’s dog did come across and I think if my husband wasn’t there he would have come up to my dog. Just a heads up for anyone with a dog that doesn’t like dogs. Otherwise super nice spot.

Very cool spot. Dogs will be exhausted running & sniffing all over the forestry. Not sure when property line ends and we came up on a neighbors house, so beware of this if your dog doesn’t have a strong recall.

The last time we were here it was the middle of winter, so it was a real treat to be here at the end of June. The property is sprawling and has so much fun terrain to hike through and explore. My dachshunds loved it. Additionally, it's just beautiful, peaceful. Plenty of good shaded areas amongst the trees to sit down and soak it in.

Great wooded area away from distractions so the doggies could explore. Carol was super helpful with directions and we had a great time. We reserved the spot for an hour but left after about 45 minutes because the dogs were so worn out! Thanks again, we’ll be back.
