No neighbours to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive. Trails cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 70 acres of open farmland, woods and a creek. Your dog is about 1/4 km away from all other yards and buildings at all times. You may hear a dog bark in the distance depending on air quality, but it will be faint. You can take an easy hike along the field edge, or let your pet have the full experience of sniffing out coons, opossums, squirrels and many other things in the woods. The woods trail is steep and sloped for a portion of the way, and eventually joins the field edge trail. Neither trail is cleared of snow, but the woods trail mostly doesn't have a deep snow layer. Both trails give you access to the creek. Round trip to the back of the farm and back is 30-40 minutes at a good hike. In the summer, a beautiful rest camp is set up at the back for you to detox and enjoy the silence while your dog is in the water. A hose and/or small pool is provided at the front for your dog's rinse.

What a great spot! Our girls got all their sillies out running along the wooded paths and bouncing through the stream. There’s a large grassy area for fetch, a pond, and even a digging hill. They also have a garbage which is nice. We’ll be back!

Was a great outing for my puppy. He’s not good with recall or off leash, but we were able to work on those skills with a kind leash. He was hesitant at first with the water features, but it was his first introduction to streams and ponds. I’ll definitely return to this sniff spot.

Amazing space. The trail was a gorgeous tree lined path, offering much needed shade. The pond and creek , offer a nice respite to the heat. My only suggestion to others going to enjoy this amazing space, bring bug spray. The mosquitos were intense!

My dog loves this place! The grass has been cut which is a plus! Just make sure you bring a mosquito repellent, there are lots of mosquitoes around the area, also bring a pet-friendly bug spray too!

We absolutely loved this sniffspot. It was very large with lots of different areas. There were some trails through wooded areas, a big open field, a pond and a pile that was designated a dig spot! It was easy to find from the road and well marked. Definitely recommend but also recommend taking lots of bug spray and good shoes!

First time user. Took my 10 year old beagle mix and 16 month great dane. We were enjoying our time so much we added an extra hour (one goes by so fast with so much area to explore!! Lots of room for my great dane to run out his zoomies and areas of interest for my beagle to sniff/ track. Neither dog came back with any bugs, which is impressive for this time of year/ the environment. Very clean, lots of fun things for the boys to play with and areas to dig! Bonus: clean water bucket left with a bowl and garbage can to throw out dog bags (or Timmy cup). VERY CLEAN! Host was extremely accommodating and quick responding. Amazing experience, perfect for any dog! It's definitely worth the small price to avoid a busy dog park! No hidden costs. Highly recommend; we will be going back!

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
