No neighbours to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive. Trails cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent.

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 70 acres of open farmland, woods and a creek. Your dog is about 1/4 km away from all other yards and buildings at all times. You may hear a dog bark in the distance depending on air quality, but it will be faint. You can take an easy hike along the field edge, or let your pet have the full experience of sniffing out coons, opossums, squirrels and many other things in the woods. The woods trail is steep and sloped for a portion of the way, and eventually joins the field edge trail. Neither trail is cleared of snow, but the woods trail mostly doesn't have a deep snow layer. Both trails give you access to the creek. Round trip to the back of the farm and back is 30-40 minutes at a good hike. In the summer, a beautiful rest camp is set up at the back for you to detox and enjoy the silence while your dog is in the water. A hose and/or small pool is provided at the front for your dog's rinse.

Absolutely incredible morning! Our two golden retrievers had a blast frolicking around, splashing and swimming in the stream. Rick's property is a true haven for active dogs like mine! It is well maintained with different areas for off-leash play. No other animals or people around, that’s a sanctuary for reactive dogs too. Lovely well kept trail with several different enrichment opportunities. Walking, sniffing, and my dogs favourite- water features. Everything was clean, well kept, and easy to find. Would definitely recommend! I would advise bug spray fyi (we didn’t plan ahead for that but would have been helpful with some mosquitos).

SO happy we found this awesome spot!!! The sign was perfect so we knew where to park and leave our car. We kept our dog leashed just until we got to the bench where there is also a garbage can for your poop bags to go! Then we let Him rip, zoooomed down the straightway past all the long grass, we decided to walk the perimeter first to check it out and then into the forest we went! Loved the orange markers on the tree’s letting us know we were on the right path. Then we heard the splash and knew right away that Reggie found the pond lol. Once he has his bearings he would run through the woods and makes his loops checking in with us every time like the good boy that he is! Great spot for some extra recall and trick training. We will absolutely be back!
