Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

You may hear a dog bark in the distance depending on air quality, but it will be faint. You can take an easy hike along the field edge, or let your pet have the full experience of sniffing out coons, opossums, squirrels and many other things in the woods. The woods trail is steep and sloped for a portion of the way, and eventually joins the field edge trail. Neither trail is cleared of snow, but the woods trail mostly doesn't have a deep snow layer. Both trails give you access to the creek. Round trip to the back of the farm and back is 30-40 minutes at a good hike. In the summer, a beautiful rest camp is set up at the back for you to detox and enjoy the silence while your dog is in the water. A hose and/or small pool is provided at the front for your dog's rinse.

It was an honour to be the first guest to visit Frances’ Sniff Spot location! She made sure everything went smoothly prior to arrival to after our time there! Everything from communication to signage was very organized! We also greatly appreciated the box of amenities to use of snacks for my Labrador, tennis balls, water& water bowl, as well as snacks for us humans and the sweetest, most thoughtful card ever! The grounds were beautiful and exceptionally large and was more than enough room for my Jett to run around in. We also got to visit their pet chicken in his Coop on the yard which was special and fun! Jett especially loved the trails on the land! We cannot wait to come back and visit again soon! ONE WORD… PARADISE!! Great grassy areas with a forest and a sandy /volley area that my dogs loved as they love the beach so being on the sand was lots of fun! It felt like our own private beach area. Will definitely be back in a few weeks !! I recommend this sniffspot to any dog that wants to go on a sniffari in the wood as well as enjoy the sandy/volleyball court area and acres to explore

Great place to let your dogs run free. Small but nice forested area as well. I booked 2 hours as I did some training off leash as well, but you would only need an hour to explore the entire spot. Host was very responsive, easy to find spot and left us both with water and treats! Very nice! Just a heads up, you park near the road and it's unfenced. Ensure your dog has solid recall! I will be back!

This space is well maintained and the perfect size for some light roaming and play! There is a small trail that connects both sides of the properly that has just the right amount of greenery to allow pups to explore and use their noses! Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
