IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Hi there, we are Between The Lakes Family Farm in Canfield (15 minutes south of Binbrook). Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

There are forest trails and trails around our hay fields. **Please note **Our residential areas are off limits, please stick to the trails and blue markers. Please do not enter any of the buildings on our property. When you come up the driveway veer to the right, there is a marked parking spot for you and your pup. Fall, winter and early spring are great months for ball chasers as we have big open fields. Mid spring and summer we have hay growing and ask you and your pups to follow the trails around the hay fields. There are a couple of cows on the neighboring property, this is only for a very small portion on one of the fields.

Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. Come, take a walk through my yard, into the woods and down a slope to get to Cazenovia Creek. While down by the creek, you will most likely not encounter another human being. The piece of creek is bordered by Northrup, Transit and the bridge on Southwestern Boulevard. Feel free to explore through the woods in solitude, it is a 10 minute walk down to the creek. I have an unfenced yard, so please have your furry friend on a leash if they are not leash trained. Once you get into the woods, you are more than welcome to go off leash. This is definitely a walk for boots or hikers. If it has been raining, the trail down will be muddy. The walk to the slope is wooded with many obstacles but definitely walkable ducking here and there under a branch.

Really well maintained trails with some forested parts, some more meadowed areas and even a small creek that my dog loves going for a small swim in! Some of the trails are closer to the road, but it isn't loud or busy and my dog didn't notice at all! She was able to be fully off leash the entire time without any issues. The entire area would be great in any season, just be sure to wear the right shoes because it can be a bit on the wetter side We'll be back for sure - she had a great time!

What an incredible spot Martin has! This is truly a dog, and owner’s, paradise. It’s like having your own private conservation area all to yourself. There are so many trails to explore and it’s easy to spend more than an hour walking along the trails. We rented the spot for an hour and a half, for 7 dogs, and we could have definitely done even longer. It was so nice for us to have a visit with peace of mind knowing the dogs could run around and not have to worry about running into anyone, or recalling around the bends. There was also plenty of open space for them to have some zoomies together. Boots are definitely a must if you want to visit all parts of the property, as there are some marshy areas, but Martin was great at greeting me when I first arrived and giving me some pointers on how to avoid some of the very wet areas. I very much appreciate the affordable price of this spot and even though it’s over an hour drive, we will most certainly be back again. Thank you Martin for sharing your beautiful property with others!

Wonderful place to take your dog. Beautiful place with many trails. We got a map immediately upon arrival, but but directionally challenged, the many signs were very helpful. My normally nervous dog made herself at home right from the get go and had a great time. We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the walk. We will be back!

This is an amazing property and we really enjoyed our walk today! The trails were lovely and our dog thoroughly enjoyed running around and sniffing. The paths were well maintained and were also well labeled! Martin is a lovely host and greeted us with a smile! He reviewed the map with us and gave us some information about the current state of the trails. As an owner of a reactive dog - it was the perfect place for our dog to run around and be free! Great place with lots of trails. Very well organized too! All trails have names and are well labeled, you get a map upon arriving and there is a garbage at entrance (which many other parks don’t have) and the use of dog toys in a box before starting the trails. This spot is fantastic!!! Beautiful place, extremely well maintained, signs everywhere indicating where to park and the main trails. Martin truly went above and beyond by providing a paper map too which was amazing. A garbage can at the entrance/exit which is the first time I’ve seen that at a Sniffspot. Great trail network, came on a rainy winter day so I can imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. Martin was super welcoming and provided a helpful map illustrating the property. It took 1 hour to cover the outer perimeter, and it would probably take over 2 hours to cover the entire network but we didn’t get that far, next time though! The trails are well maintained for sure, and my dog loved swimming and zooming through the forest and brush. Would definitely come again and recommend to friends :)

Archie had a fantastic time running around the trails, jumping into the marshy areas and generally targeting anything that was muddy and wet (of course). He also loved off-roading into the bushes as evidenced by the little burrs that he collected along the way in the photo (but i knew it would happen and Martin indicated in the description as well which was also super helpful). The trail is nicely marked and I like that it has a variety of paths. Martin provided a map to also help us navigate our time. The hour went by so quickly and we would definitely come again!
