55A beautiful property and I visited on a gloomy end of winter day. I cannot wait to visit when the trails around the property are in full bloom. A safe, clean, and beautiful property with unique features to explore. If you have a Velcro dog like I do, bring a comb as there are a few burrs. The host provided all the amenities you could need and answered all my questions. Definitely worth the drive! Jenna E.

55Fantastic place for my dogs to stretch their legs. It’s well worth the drive from Kanata. So large, and so many places for them to sniff and explore. One dog is a 3 legged rescue and the other is blind and yet the peppery is so well laid out there were no issues. You won’t find a better place for your dog(s). Dean C.

55Such a wonderful spot! The yard is secure, clean, spacious and the owner has gone out of her way to add so many extras for both the doggos and the humans to make it a great experience - toys, agility equipment, seating etc. I only wish I lived closer, we’d be there daily 😃Michelle C.

55So happy to see the snow melting slowly and grasses poking out with lots of smells to sniff, which my dog loves! And of course the huge yard with so much space to run and the toys! The red ball is Thibbs’ favourite! Heather is very responsive and accommodating. So happy to have found this spot. We love coming here.Andrea B.

55Excellent, welcoming host! There were chocolate Easter eggs secured in a mason jar for the people. 🍫🥚🐇
In addition to a large variety of dog toys, there was a lot of agility equipment! My dog liked the jumps. There was also a jug of water for the dogs & a dog bowl!
The ground was dry & firm, even in low lying areas. It was wonderful for the dogs to sniff, run, explore & enjoy the country!Margaret Mary C.

55This host is very considerate and put out a collapsed tunnel in addition to a set up one when she heard that I’d like to get my dog used to agility equipment! My dog had a great time rescuing balls from the wading pool too! Margaret Mary C.

FAQ about our Inkerman dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Inkerman area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 27 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 5 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
