Porta Potty for humans. large mowed areas to throw a ball of Frisbee. Large pond with an easy in and out slope into the water for young and senior pups. A small Jon boat with paddle for a pup water tour of the pond. A selection of different size life Jackets for pups and humans. A bulletin board with a sample display of a Blue Green Algae test kit that can be purchased on Amazon’s. An area next to it where guests who do the tests can post the day, time and results for other pup owners to see. An array of pup towels to dry off with and a drying line. A Muddy Paw Spa wash station b4 they get back in the car, multiple large shaded sitting areas. A 10’x 10’ sand filled dig box for the pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who like a good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. A Large professional Obstacle Course with most of the obstacles course pieces seen on U-Tube. Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (Please be considerate for the next guest, return them back to the station after use). The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

This spot was PERFECT for my on leash reactive dogs. They got to run to Their hearts content, sniff anything and everything and chase each other around without me having to worry about running into anyone. It was so nice they were able to just be dogs. The trails were steep but totally manageable! We will be back for sure.

Loved it! Your own private slice of Forest Park. Looking forward to going back. Really beautiful property that slopes down to a lovely creek, with plenty to sniff along the way. Hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making this welcoming and fun. The main trails are well graded, wide and clearly maintained with rainy days in mind. Recommend still wearing sturdy shoes - especially if you plan to go on side trails. (There's a map at the parking area of the trails and then they have marked them along the way!) This also looks to be a well shaded location for when summer arrives. The property has clear boundaries but not a literal fence the whole way like a dog park. It was sufficient to keep my adventurous hound from following her nose too far astray. For Reactive Dogs: This was really private and once you get past the parking area, there really isn't an opportunity to see other people, cars, etc - truly is private. One of the dogs with us was reactive to strangers and the hosts were really accommodating to his needs. But really, the place is private enough there aren't going to be other people or dogs walking past - even where you park. Looking forward to visiting again!

Magical private hiking spot! Well maintained and clearly marked trails. At a brisk walk, can cover the current trails in 30-40 mins, but plenty of fun meandering, doubling around, or enjoying one of the benches too. Recommend either very reliable recall or a long line, as there are sheep, neighbors in view from the trail. Wonderful spot and will return!

I just love this place. It is so well maintained and all the trails are such an adventure for the dogs as well as us. It was so wonderful to get back this year, and as always great hosts! It was even better this year...we discovered a couple new trails. Very tranquil in places, little creeks here and there, plenty of places to park your hiney if you want and there are a couple really open spaces for play time with your dogs as well. Its JUST BEAUTIFUL here. I may book it just for myself just to go and sit and have some me time.😉😉😉.

John and Stephanie's farm offers peace and serenity far from the hustle and bustle of the city. I came to Seattle to visit my sick grandfather and needed a place to unwind with my reactive rescue dog Georgie. John was very kind and patient. Georgie barked at John the whole time we walked across the field to the enclosed Sniffspot but he remained calm which allowed her to slightly lower her guard. You can tell that he's had lots of experience with dogs and it was reassuring. Everything on the farm and trails have been placed and carefully thought out with love and intention. Georgie had a great time sniff and running through the stream. We both really need a safe spot to enjoy together and were very grateful for the experience. John had extended the offer to let my family come back with the dogs but due to the tight schedule we couldn't make it out there together. I would have loved to come back and explore. I wish we lived in Washington. I recommended this location to my cousin so I hope she'll be able to bring her dog to explore.

This is such a sweet farm and a really nice, big Sniffspot. Lots of wide open grassy areas, wooded trails and varying terrain along with a creek (that can be more like a river in Winter). This place is amazing! There are lots of well marked trails with fun names and signage. My dog was in absolute heaven running around and exploring, he was smiling the whole time. There is also a great cabin in progress we hope to rent when ready, so we can spend more time here. Oh, and did I mention the hosts are very welcoming and nice people. We will definitely be back.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
