Our sniff spot is a fully fenced in area that is a great place to be with your dog !!!! There is some ferny rock climbing for the adventurous and some areas where your dog will enjoy running around ! Some toys are available just please be respectful and put everything back where you found it ! Hope This brings some peace of mind for your dog to run about and play in a safe fenced in environment!

The Zoomie Zone was born out of our extensive dog rescue volunteer work and the benefits that a Sniffspot brings to those who have dogs, but don't have a yard for them to run in. Not all dogs are dog-park dogs (and not all humans properly supervise their dogs at dog parks - making it an unsafe place at times)! We deeply care about dogs being healthy and happy - and staying in their homes! All funds generated from our Sniffspot go right back into our dog rescue efforts (we foster, transport thousands of miles per year, coordinate adoptions/fosters, etc.) This private paradise is a doggie dream come true! Welcome to our English countryside-esque dog walking area! Located near the amazing Catskills, in the Poconos. We are located 11 min from beautiful Calicoon NY, 14 min from Honesdale PA, 28 min from Narrowsburg NY, and many more wonderful vacation, recreation and restaurant spots along the Delaware river! We have nearly 8 acres of rewilded pasture with dog walking paths throughout that connect through miniature woodland paths (keep your eyes peeled during the summer months, we have raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mint, and cattails on the paths to munch, and apples in fall, from over 100 year old heritage varieties! We just ask that you do not pick from the new baby orchard trees, they are individually fenced and easy to see). As well as natures treats throughout, we have a miniature maze in progress for little dogs & kids, a dip-able creek for dogs & humans, and a nice size pond that is swim friendly for dogs only (step in only friendly recommended for humans). These are the paths we walk our three dogs on, and we can attest to their love and enjoyment! There is a picnic table, electrical outlet and chairs by the pond, and sitting rocks by the creek near the bridge on most days the rewilding isn’t too wild. This is not fully fenced, but dogs that can be walked off leash are welcome to run. We are surrounded by a hill and guardrail on the road side, a creek on the back side with a neighboring property beyond that, and a hedge/manmade stream on the other, so it is good for trained dogs to leap around free in! Small dogs are welcome in our small fenced in area if needed to run around off leash and are not comfortable in the field off leash (just pick up after them especially in the garden). This is a rural area, but we rarely have wildlife sightings during the day due to our location on a main road, and our 3 dogs. Mostly bald eagles in spring. I’ve never heard of any issues because we have plenty of natural food sources for the eagles, but be cautious if you have a miniature breed loose in the field. Two of our 3 dogs are very well behaved nearly 10 year old lab collie mixes who love playing and run off leash. So if you want some play time for your pup, they would love to join! Our younger dog unfortunately is a stubborn Anatolian Shepherd who if loose would go looking for neighborhood chickens in lieu of playing, so she will wait her turn for after your visit no matter the request. This is a small starter orchard of heritage fruit, and our family home with children, so someone dog or human will be home most days. Please let us know if you would like to use the fenced in garden/yard area completely free of human activity, as well as the standard dog-free. We want to make sure your dogs time here suits their needs. For anyone with non-social dogs especially, we are happy to book when we are not home for your peace of mind, just let us know! We are always dog free from sight (but not always sound in the garden/yard area, but we do try.) Playtime with our dogs can be requested to wear out your pup (this can be provided human free as well, our dogs are call friendly even with strangers). Lots of smells and open space to run and play! Our partially treed land offers the right combination of sun and shade. State Game Lands are right across the lane so wildlife, trees and fresh air are abundant here! Trek through our woods or run in our oversized yard - either way, we'll never bother you! Please keep in mind our property is unfenced, so doggy friends who are particularly obedient might fare better here!

A fun spot for dogs to run, jump, fetch, roam, smell and explore. Certified National Wildlife Habitat in a residential neighborhood. Fully fenced in. No chemicals of any kind. Lawn, trees, rock walls, trenches and hills. Shade, lawn and patio furniture provided for the pet owners, as well as electricity and WiFi if needed.

Lot is 7800 sq feet, I do have a very friendly 5 month old cane corso on site. He’s never out alone unless we’re home.

We are located in a gated community, so we have to call you in. We have some room in the front for you to play with your little guy and also room in the back. We also have a deck where you can sit down if you like.

**Due to the winter season, all furniture, kiddie pool, hose, fountains/pond, sprinkler, dog hangout area, and decorative lighting have been put away. The gazebo is used to store many of these items, so it is off limits till spring. Fresh water will only be provided in the bowls on the deck. Camp Fire, S’mores, Tread Scavenger Hunt, Bubbles & Biscuits, and Rip & Tear Extras will not be available until spring. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation while our Sniffspot is winterized. We’ve lowered our price for the season. We look forward to providing all of our typical amenities come warmer weather again! Our quiet, fully fenced (6’ privacy fence) 1 acre yard offers a variety of dog & human friendly spaces. There’s a secure entrance to the yard from a large circle driveway. There is a deck with table, seating, and umbrellas, a small pond, a screened in gazebo with a fan and seating, a hammock area, a shaded doggy hangout, and a fire pit with seating. We have a variety of surfaces: concrete sidewalk, mulch landscaping beds, dirt holes for digging, wood deck with rugs, gravel beds, and plenty of grass! The yard is lined with large trees for shade. There’s plenty of dog toys and various water bowl zones.

The main driveway is right in front, feel free to park anywhere. We do have dogs but they will be inside during your scheduled visit. The yard is not fenced and has woods on 2 sides and a neighbor with kids and dogs on the 3rd side

We have about an acre of lawn space, with access down a short incline to a shallow rocky brook. There’s 20 acres of woods in the back that is able to be explored, with small streams and deer tracks. Lots of smells of woods animals, turkeys etc… The road is across the stream.
