55What a perfect little spot! The last part of the road is bumpy but once you get there it’s easy parking and easy access to the water (except the last step but even my 5yr old was fine). My girls love swimming and live for retrieving, especially my youngest pup, and it was so relaxing and much less stressful letting them just swim and not feel like I need to constantly look over my shoulder, worrying that other dogs or people might show up any time. Rented this spot for my dog reactive dog, so that we could do a test run in my kayak and not have to worry about other dogs. It was so private and quiet, just what we needed.
I found taking the narrow path/rocks down to the water, rather than the stairs, was actually easier. The water level was high so not much beach but it still worked out well. She actually did some real swimming which she doesn’t normally do. Plenty of room to get the kayak in and out, too.
Highly recommend and we’ll be back again!
