We have a 5.76 acres total, approx 1.5 is open area where you could let your dog run around ( we generally let our dog out everyday unleashed and have never had any issues, we obviously wouldn't allow him out while someone else is here but just ssying ) the rest is all wooded area that you could also bring your dog into some of it is low density so it is fairly easy to walk around in, there arent really any trails but if your an explorer have at it. There is 1 trail in the back of the property that takes you down to the river it is a little treacherous though so hiker beware.

Welcome to our hobby farm! It's a dog's life here at Dog Day Farms so we created 5 acres of walking trails and a fully-fenced 1000sq ft play area with our four-legged friends in mind. The play area is complete with toys, amateur agility course, and fun seasonal decor for a photo shoot with your furbabies! We also offer several chairs & benches on the trails, placed in a few peaceful locations to relax along the way. Welcome to Wilde Kind Farm! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our fenced dog play yard! We may be closing the meadow on various days to do spring clean up and build some fun new things for the dogs and you! We have a couple areas for your to explore. A smaller area with shelter and taller fencing that is lit up at night. Or you can go through the gate to our "wilder" area to the left of the barn. Please note the entire property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot. To access the fenced acreage walk to the left of the Barn and look for the "Guest Entrance" sign on the gate.

Our night-time spot! These long cold winter nights make it hard to find a place to take your furry friends. Come visit our farm where we have a lit up, fenced play yard, glow in the dark collars to use, and lots of toys. For the people there are two 3 sided shelters with seating. Get out of the weather, charge your phone, and stay warm while your dogs play! Please note we are updating fencing and adding some new daytime areas so the fencing area may be changing around a bit as we finish updates this fall. My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

This is a long, large space that dogs could run and play in. The side of the house could be blocked off so they can stay in sight the entire time. Options to keep an eye on dog from inside sunroom (we have cats though—so not if you’re alllergic!). We also have a fire pit for warmth in colder times and outside lighting for earlier sunset seasons.
